“Whoever fights under a banner of folly, supporting tribalism, or getting angry for the sake of tribalism, he dies in a state of ignorance.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3948)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ قُتِلَ تَحْتَ رَايَةِ عُمِّيَّةٍ يَنْصُرُ عَصَبِيَّةً وَيَغْضَبُ لِلْعَصَبِيَّةِ فَقِتْلَةٌ جَاهِلِيَّةٌ»
One who is killed under the banner of a man who is blind (to his just cause), who raises the slogan of family or supports his own tribe, dies the death of one belonging to the days of Jahiliyya.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ قُتِلَ تَحْتَ رَايَةٍ عُمِّيَّةٍ يَدْعُو عَصَبِيَّةً أَوْ يَنْصُرُ عَصَبِيَّةً فَقِتْلَةٌ جَاهِلِيَّةٌ
"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Whoever fights for a cause that is not clear, advocating tribalism, getting angry for the sake of tribalism, then he has died a death of Jahiliyyah.'"
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَاتَلَ تَحْتَ رَايَةٍ عُمِّيَّةٍ يُقَاتِلُ عَصَبِيَّةً وَيَغْضَبُ لِعَصَبِيَّةٍ فَقِتْلَتُهُ جَاهِلِيَّةٌ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عِمْرَانُ الْقَطَّانُ لَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ
“Whoever fights under a banner of folly, supporting tribalism, or getting angry for the sake of tribalism, he dies in a state of ignorance.”
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَاتَلَ تَحْتَ رَايَةٍ عِمِّيَّةٍ يَدْعُو إِلَى عَصَبِيَّةٍ أَوْ يَغْضَبُ لِعَصَبِيَّةٍ فَقِتْلَتُهُ جَاهِلِيَّةٌ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah said, "Whoever is killed under a blind banner, their killing is the killing of ignorant people."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ «مَنْ قُتِلَ تَحْتَ رَايَةٍ عِمِّيَّةٍ فَقَتْلُهُ قِتْلَةٌ جَاهِلِيَّةٌ»
"مَنْ قُتِلَ تَحتَ رَاية عمَيَّةٍ يَنْصُرُ العَصَبيَّةَ وَيَغْضَبُ للْعَصَبيَّةِ فَقِتْلَتُهُ جَاهِلِيَّةٌ".
