[Machine] "That when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out to conquer Mecca, he appointed Abu Ruhm Kulthum ibn Al-Husayn Al-Ghifari as the governor of Medina."  

الطبراني:١٦٥٢٥حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شُعَيْبٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَمَّا خَرَجَ لَفَتْحِ مَكَّةَ اسْتَخْلَفَ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ أَبَا رُهْمٍ كُلْثُومَ بْنَ الْحُصَيْنِ الْغِفَارِيَّ»

وَيُقَالُ كُلْثُومُ بْنُ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ اسْتَخْلَفَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ لَمَّا خَرَجَ لَفَتْحِ مَكَّةَ»
