[Machine] "I seek refuge in Allah from the morning to the fire. Buy two white garments for me and shroud me in them, for they shall not be left on me except for a short while, until I am clothed with something better than them or robbed of them in a swift manner."
[Machine] "That the polytheists had taken an oath against us, so he mentioned the incident."
[Machine] We asked how Hudhayfah was affected by something that did not affect Abu Bakr or Umar. Sillah ibn Zufar said, "By Allah, we asked Hudhayfah about that and he said, 'I was walking with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a dark night, and we stumbled upon a valley. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ slept on his riding animal and said, 'If we push him above us, he will fall and break his neck, so we will be relieved of him.' When I heard them, I went ahead of them and started reciting a Surah from the Qur'an. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke up and said, 'Who is this?' I said, 'It's Hudhayfah, O Messenger of Allah.' He said, 'Approach.' So I approached and he asked, 'Did you hear what they were saying behind you?' I said, 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said, 'Indeed, they are hypocrites, so-and-so and so-and-so and so-and-so.'"
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave me the choice between migration and support, and I chose support."
[Machine] The polytheists took me and my father on the day of Badr, and they made a pact with us that we would not support the Prophet ﷺ. So we mentioned that to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, "Fulfill your pact with them, and seek the help of Allah against them."

[Machine] We asked Hudhayfah, how did you know about the matter of the hypocrites when none of the companions of the Messenger of Allah, Abu Bakr or Umar, knew about it? He said, I used to walk behind the Messenger of Allah and he would sleep on his mount. So, I heard some people saying, "If we push him off his mount, his neck will be severed and we will be relieved of him." So, I went among them until I was in between them and him, and I started to read and raise my voice. The Prophet ﷺ woke up and said, "Who is this?" I said, "Hudhayfah." He asked, "Who are these (people)?" I said, "So and so," until I counted them for him. He asked, "Did you hear what they said?" I said, "Yes." Due to that, I stayed between you and them. He said, "Indeed, these are so and so (naming them) until he counted their names. They are hypocrites, do not inform anyone (about their identities)."
[Machine] We were talking that there were fourteen men, so Ammar said, "If you are amongst them, then they are fifteen." Wadi'ah said, "Wait, O Abu al-Yaqdhan, I implore you by Allah not to expose me." Ammar said, "By Allah, I have not named anyone nor will I ever name anyone, but I testify that the fifteen men are twelve of them are warriors for Allah and His Messenger in this worldly life and on the Day of Judgment."

[Machine] Muhammad promises us the treasures of Kisra and Caesar, and none of us are safe from his harm. He is the one who said, "If we had any power, we would not have been killed here." Al-Zubayr testified against him with these words, and Wadi'ah bin Thabit bin Amr bin Awf also testified, saying, "We used to swim and play, and it was Muhammad who said, 'I do not see our Quraysh reciters, they desire our stomachs and are cowardly when faced with the enemy.'" Jad ibn Abdullah ibn Nabil ibn al-Harith, from the Banu Amro bin Awf, said, "Gabriel, ﷺ , said to Muhammad, "Who is this black man with abundant hair, his eyes appearing like two patches of white? He looks with the eyes of a devil, and his liver is like the liver of a donkey. He informs the hypocrites of your news, and he is the one who soils his garment." Al-Harith ibn Yazid al-Tai, the ally of the Banu Amro bin Awf, hastened to the ill person whom the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade to touch anyone, and he drank from the illness. Aws ibn Qayziyyah, from the Banu Harithah, said, "Our houses are the worst." He is the grandfather of Yahya bin Sa'id bin Qays, and the Jarass ibn Suwayd bin As-Samit, from the Banu Amro bin Awf. It reached us that he repented after that. Sa'd ibn Zurarah, from the Banu Malik bin an-Najjar, was the smoker of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he was the youngest and dirtiest among them. Qays ibn Qahd from the Banu Malik bin an-Najjar, as well as Suwayd and Da'is, from the Banu Balhubli, were the ones who prepared Ibn Ubayy in Tabuk and betrayed the people. Qays ibn Amr ibn Sahl and Zaid ibn al-Lussayt were Jews from Qaynuqa'a who openly embraced Islam.

Dajjal is blind of one eye and there is written between his eyes the word" Kafir". He then spelled the word as k. f. r., which every Muslim would be able to read. (Using translation from Muslim 2933c)
[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ who said, "The Quran was revealed in seven modes."
"The Messenger of Allah came out to us, and there were nine of us. He said; 'After me there will be rulers, whoever believes in their lies and helps them in their wrongdoing is not of me, and I am not of him, and he will not come to me at the Cistern. Whoever does not believe their lies and does not help them in their wrongdoing, he is of me, and I am of hi, and he will come to me at the Cistern."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4207)
Hammam told us: Farqad told us from Murrah at-Tayyib from Abu Bakr as-Siddeeq that the Prophet ﷺ said: ʿNo one who mistreats his slaves will enter Paradise.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 31)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, the immoral person will enter Paradise with his faith, while the foolish one will enter it with his livelihood. By the One in whose hand is my soul, the one whose sins have caused him to be touched by Hellfire will enter Paradise. By the One in whose hand is my soul, Allah will forgive on the Day of Resurrection in a forgiveness that even Satan hopes to attain."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, the punishment of adultery destroys the deeds of a hundred years."
[Machine] Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention the fitnah? Hudhayfah said, "Yes." Umar said, "You are brave." He replied, "I am braver than me, whoever conceals knowledge." Umar asked, "How did you hear it?" He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Verily, in the wealth of a man, there is a fitnah, and in his wife, there is a fitnah, and in his children." Umar said, "I did not ask about his personal fitnah." Hudhayfah said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'After me, there will come fitnahs like the waves of the sea, one pushing the other.' He raised his hand and said, 'O Allah, do not make me experience that.' Hudhayfah said, 'O Amir al-Mu'minin, do not fear, there is a closed door between you and that.' Umar asked, 'Should I open it, will the door be opened or broken?' Hudhayfah said, 'It will be broken, and it will not be closed until the Day of Judgment.' Umar said, 'That is evil for this Ummah.'"
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "I have been given the rings of Surah al-Baqarah from a treasure beneath the Throne."
[Machine] I read in my father's book in his own handwriting, and I did not hear it from him, from Qatadah, from Abu Mashar, from Ibrahim, from Hammam ibn al-Harith, from Hudhayfah. He said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There will be 27 liars from among my Ummah, and among them are four women, and I am the last of the prophets, there will be no prophet after me."

[Machine] Narrated Hudhaifah ibn al-Yaman: They (the companions) used to speak about al-azl (coitus interruptus) while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was among them. He (the Holy Prophet) came to them and said: Praise be to Allah, Who is much Purer and Sublimer than that He should have progeny (children) through al-azl. What the person concerned ejaculates (when he has sexual intercourse) is picked up by the Devil. If Allah decides to create anything as a result of this act of that which even He has not created before, it would be that what you would call al-qaddar (one who is born without parents).
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us from a room and said, "What are you saying? What are you discussing?" We said, "The Hour (Day of Judgment)." He said, "Indeed, it will not occur until you see ten signs: the sinking of the east, the sinking of the west, the sinking of the Arabian Peninsula, the emergence of Gog and Magog, the appearance of the Antichrist, the beast, the rising of the sun from its setting place, the descent of Jesus son of Mary, and a fire that will come out from the bottom of Aden, which will drive people and gather them wherever they are, and a wind that will throw them into the sea."
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked out from a room, when we were talking about the Hour. He said: 'The Hour will not begin until ten signs appear: The rising of the sun from the west (place of its setting); Dajjal; the smoke; the beast; Gog and Magog people; the appearance of 'Eisa bin Maryam(as), the earth collapsing three times - once in the east, one in the west and one in the Arabian Peninsula; and fire that will emerge from the plain of Aden Abyan and will drive the people to the place of Gathering, stopping with them when they stop at night and when they stop to rest at midday." We were sitting in the shade of the chamber of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ discussing (something) and when we mentioned the last hour, our voices rose high. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The last hour will not come or happen until there appear ten signs before it : the rising of the sun in its place of setting, the coming forth of the beast, the coming forth of Gog and Magog, the Dajjal (Antichrist), (the descent of) Jesus son of Mary, the smoke, and three collapses of the earth: one in the west, one in the east, and one in the Arabian Peninsula. The last of that will be the emergence of a fire from Yemen, from the lowest part of Aden, and drive mankind to their place of assembly. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4311)

[Machine] Hudhaifah ibn Asid, the companion of the Prophet ﷺ , narrated: We were having a conversation in the shade of a room when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ approached us from that room and said, "What are you talking about?" We replied, "We are talking about the Hour (i.e. the Day of Judgment)." He said, "The Hour will not come until ten signs appear: the rising of the sun from its place of setting, the appearance of the Dajjal (Antichrist), the Smoke, the Beast of the Earth, and three eclipses; one in the east, one in the west, and one in the Arabian Peninsula. Then Gog and Magog will emerge, and a fire will come out from the bottom of Aden and will drive the people to the land of gathering, where it will keep them until they fulfill their needs. Then it will move away from them and abandon them." He further said, "I also heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'The Hour will not come until a fire emerges from the land of the Romans or from the palm of a hand in Busra, illuminating the necks of the camels in Basra.'"

Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us all of a sudden as we were (busy in a discussion). He said: What do you discuss about? They (the Companions) said. We are discussing about the Last Hour. Thereupon he said: It will not come until you see ten signs before and (in this connection) he made a mention of the smoke, Dajjal, the beast, the rising of the sun from the west, the descent of Jesus son of Mary (Allah be pleased with him), the Gog and Magog, and land-slides in three places, one in the east, one in the west and one in Arabia at the end of which fire would burn forth from the Yemen, and would drive people to the place of their assembly. [Machine] Narrated by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , the creature has three exits from time. It first emerges in the furthest part of Yemen, spreading its mention among the people of the wilderness, but not reaching the city. Then it remains hidden for a long time after that. Then it emerges again near Makkah, spreading its mention among the people of the wilderness and Makkah. Then it remains hidden for a long time. Then it appears among the people one day in the greatest of the mosques, which is the Sacred Mosque, it will not touch them except one side of the mosque, from the corner to the Maqam, to the door of Bani Makhzum, on the right side of the outside. The people will flee from it in different directions, and it will be confined by a group of Muslims who know that they cannot overpower Allah. It will shake the dirt off its head, and it will shine before them, and their faces will become luminous as if they were the shining stars in the sky. Then it will go away, and it will not be reached by any seeker or escaped by any fleeing person. Indeed, a man may stand up and seek refuge in prayer from it, and it will come to him and ask, "O so-and-so, are you praying now?" He will respond to it with his face, and it will mark his face. Then it will go away, and the people will discuss among themselves their journeys and join together in their wealth. The disbeliever will be distinguished from the believer, to the extent that the believer will say to the disbeliever, "O disbeliever, judge my case." And even the disbeliever will say, "O believer, judge my case."

So I came to Hudhayfah ibn Asid and said to him, "Are you not surprised by the statement of Ibn Mas'ud?" He said, "And what did he say?" I said, "Indeed, the wretched is one who is wretched in his mother's womb, and indeed the fortunate is one who is admonished by others." Hudhayfah said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'When forty-five nights have passed upon the drop [of semen], the angel says, 'Is it a male or a female?' When the drop of (semen) remains in the womb for forty or forty five nights, the angel comes and says: My Lord, will he be good or evil? And both these things would be written. Then the angel says: My Lord, would he be male or female? And both these things are written. And his deeds and actions, his death, his livelihood; these are also recorded. Then his document of destiny is rolled and there is no addition to nor subtraction from it. (Using translation from Muslim 2644)

Huzaifa said, 'And what do you deny of that? I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say repeatedly, 'Indeed, the sperm, when it settles in the womb, develops for forty days.' Some of my companions said eighty-four days. Then the angel comes to the womb, and he forms its bones, flesh, blood, hair, skin, hearing, and sight. Then he says, 'O Lord, is it male or female? O Lord, is he wretched or blessed?' Allah decides as He wills and writes it down. Then he says, 'O Lord, what is his provision?' Allah decides as He wills and writes it down. Then it is folded in the scroll and it is not revealed until the Day of Resurrection."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When Allah intends to create a servant, the angels say, 'O Lord, is it a male or female?' And the Lord says, 'Whatever He wills,' and the angel writes it down. Then the angel says, 'O Lord, is he to be miserable or happy?' And the Lord says, 'Whatever He wills,' and the angel writes it down. Then the angel says, 'O Lord, what is his sustenance?' And the Lord says, 'Whatever He wills,' and the angel writes it down. Then the angel says, 'O Lord, what is his lifespan?' And the Lord says, 'Whatever He wills,' and the angel writes it down."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "When the sperm is in the womb for forty-two nights, Allah sends an angel to it, who shapes it, creates its hearing and sight, skin, flesh, and bones. Then the angel asks, 'O Lord, is it male or female?' Allah decrees what He wills and the angel records it. Then the angel asks, 'O Lord, what is its provision?' Allah decrees what He wills and the angel records it. The angel holds a scroll in his hand and does not add or subtract from what is written."
“I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘The (funeral) prayer should be offered for a child.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1507)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us and said, "Pray for your brother who died in a land other than yours." They asked, "Who is he?" He said, "An-Najashi." So, they prayed for him, and he had been kind to those who sought refuge with him from the Muslims.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was informed of the death of the Negus, he said, "Pray for your brother who has died in a land other than yours."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ received news of the death of the Negus, so he said to his companions, "Your brother, the Negus, has passed away. Whoever wishes to pray for him, let them pray for him." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then turned towards Abyssinia and performed four takbirs (reciting "Allahu Akbar").
from the Prophet ﷺ: "For whomever I am his Mawla then 'Ali is his Mawla." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3713)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever harms the Muslims in their ways, the curse of Allah is upon them."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Prophethood has ended, and there is no prophethood after me except for glad tidings." It was asked, "What are the glad tidings?" He said, "Righteous dreams seen by a man or for him."
[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ concluded his Farewell Pilgrimage, he forbade his companions from sitting under certain acacia trees in Al-Bat-ha, which were close to each other. He then sent a message to those trees, commanding them to get up and then pray under them. Afterwards, he stood up and said, "O people, the All-Knowing, All-Aware has informed me that no prophet lives beyond the halfway point of the lifespan of his predecessor. I believe that I am about to be called, and I will answer. I am accountable, as you are accountable. So, what will you say?" They replied, "We bear witness that you have delivered the message, strived, and given sincere advice. May Allah reward you with goodness."
[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ completed his farewell pilgrimage, he forbade his companions from sitting under the close and low trees in Al-Bat'hah. Then he sent someone to cut down the thorny branches and poles from them. He then prayed beneath them and stood up and said, "O people, the All-Kind, All-Aware has informed me that no prophet has lived beyond half the age of his predecessor. And I think that I am about to be called (by Allah). So I shall respond. And I am leaving you with the responsibility. So what do you say?" They said, "We bear witness that you have conveyed the message, strived (for the sake of Allah), and given sincere advice. May Allah reward you with goodness."

[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from the Farewell Pilgrimage, he prohibited his companions from sitting under certain trees in Al-Bat-ha that were close to each other, then he sent someone to cut off the thorny bushes and made a pulpit from the trees. He prayed beneath them and then stood up and said, "O people, the All-Knowing and All-Aware has informed me that no prophet has lived beyond the halfway point of the lifespan of the prophet who came before him. And I believe that my time is near and I will be called, and I will answer. And indeed, I am responsible and you are also responsible. So, what will you say?" They said, "We bear witness that you have conveyed [the message], strived, and advised. May Allah reward you with good."

[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out on his Farewell Pilgrimage, he forbade his companions from sitting under certain close-by palm trees in Al-Bathaa. He then sent someone to those trees to cut down their branches and level them, and he performed Salah (prayer) under them. Afterwards, he stood up and said, "O people, the All-Knowing and All-Aware has informed me that no prophet has reached more than half the age of the prophet who came before him. I believe that I am about to be called, and I will answer. Indeed, I am responsible, and you are responsible. What do you say?" The duʿāʾ of the Prophet ﷺ when looking at the Kaʿbah
that when the Prophet ﷺ used to look at the House (Kaʿbah) he said, "O Allah! Elevate this House in its honor, respect, reverance, hospitality, uprightness, and awe."
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'My nation was presented before me yesterday near this room, so I recognized each person from their companion.' [Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "My ummah was presented to me last night, starting from the first of them to the last." A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah, was this everyone who has been created or only those who have been created so far?" He replied, "Show me clay so that I may be able to distinguish between them, for I know something about a person by his companion."
