[Machine] "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds, and may His blessings be upon His Prophet Muhammad and all his family. This book is a compilation of what has been narrated to us from those who narrated from the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, from both men and women, according to the order of the Arabic alphabet, starting with the letter "alif" (A), because no one preceded them. I have mentioned one, two, three, or more narrations from each of them, according to the abundance or scarcity of their narrations. I have excluded those who have very few narrations, and I have mentioned all the narrations of those who did not have any narration from the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, but had mention from the Companions who were martyred with the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, or had passed away earlier, mentioning them from the books of battles and the history of the scholars. I mentioned them to indicate the number of narrators from the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and mention their Companions. And I will compile their Musnad (collections of hadith) through thorough investigation in the order of tribes, with the help and strength of Allah, if Allah wills."

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The earth is Allah's and the servants are Allah's, so wherever any one of you finds goodness, let him fear Allah and establish it."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in the Fajr prayer in the mosque of Madinah. After he finished, he asked, "Who among you will accompany me to the delegation of the jinn tonight?" The people remained silent, and no one spoke except for me. He repeated the question three times, and then he passed by me while walking, and he took my hand. I started walking with him until the mountains of Madinah were behind us, and we reached a barren land. Suddenly, tall men appeared, looking like arrows with their clothes tied tightly around their legs. When I saw them, I felt intense fear, to the point that my legs could not carry me. When we approached them, the Messenger of Allah drew a line in the ground with his big toe and said to me, "Sit in the middle of it." When I sat down, everything that used to trouble me disappeared. The Prophet ﷺ went ahead of me and recited the Quran beautifully until dawn. Then he turned back towards me and said, "Come on." I started walking with him, and we were not far away when he said to me, "Turn around and see if you can still see them." I replied, "O Messenger of Allah, I see a multitude of people." The Messenger of Allah lowered his head to the ground and collected some soil with his hand, then threw it towards them saying, "That was the group of people from the delegation who asked me for provisions, so I provided them with every bone and piece of flesh." Zubayr said, "From then on, it is not permissible for anyone to perform istinja with bones or pieces of flesh."

[Machine] "I have a friend who says that the Commander of the Believers did not give you a satisfactory answer until he asked the man, and Umar heard some of his words, so Umar hit him with a pearl necklace, then he approached me to hit me, and I said, 'O Commander of the Believers, I did not say anything, he said it.' Then he left me and said, 'You wanted to kill the Haram and exceed the limits of fatwa.' Then he said, 'In a person there are ten qualities, nine good and one bad, which the bad one corrupts.' Then he said, 'And beware of the ten youths.'"

So, if it happens while you are in a land, do not leave it. And if you hear of it in a land, do not enter it."
This calamity or illness was a punishment with which were punished some of the nations before you. Then it was left upon the earth. It goes away once and comes back again. He who heard of its presence in a land should not go towards it, and he who happened to be in a land where it had broken out should not fly from it. (Using translation from Muslim 2218f)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ mentioned the plague and said, "Indeed, it is a punishment that struck those who came before you or a torment that afflicted those before you. So, when you hear of it being in a land, do not enter it, and when it has befallen in a land while you are there, do not leave, fleeing from it."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, this epidemic is a punishment that previous nations were inflicted with. There remains on the earth a remnant of it, sometimes it occurs and sometimes it goes away. So, if it occurs in a land while you are in it, do not leave it. And if it occurs in a land where you are not present, do not enter it."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ mentioned the plague and said, "It is a punishment that befell those who came before you. So when you hear of it in a land, do not enter it, and if it occurs while you are in a land, do not leave in fleeing from it."
That 'Abd al-Rahman b.'Awf said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: When you hear that it is breaking out in a certain territory, do not go there. If it breaks out in the territory you are in, do not go out fleeing away from it. By "it" he referred to the plague. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3103)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked, "Which part of the night is the best?" He replied, "The last third of the night, then any prayer offered after the dawn prayer is acceptable until the sun rises to the height of a spear or two spears, then the prayer is not accepted until the shadow of an object is the length of its own height. After that, any prayer offered is accepted until the sun reaches its zenith. Then the prayer is not accepted until the sun starts to decline. After that, any prayer offered is accepted until the sun sets."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked, "Which part of the night is most audible?" He said, "The latter part of the night, and then the prayers are accepted until the dawn prayer is performed. Then there is no prayer until the sun rises to the height of a spear or two spears. Then the prayers are accepted until the shadow of an object is equal to its length. Then there is no prayer until the sun moves past its zenith. Then the prayers are accepted until the sun begins to decline towards the west. Then there is no prayer until the sun sets."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ missed one of his companions and said, "Where were you? I did not see you. Did you not attend the prayer?" He said, "Yes, but I came while the people were already in their places, and I disliked to pass over people's heads." He said, "You have done well."

[Machine] Umamah bint Abi al-As was hit with a stone, so Zainab, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , sent a message to him saying, "My daughter has been struck." He then sent a reply to his daughter, "To Allah belongs what He has taken, and to Him belongs what He has left." The same thing happened to the second daughter, so she sent a message to him saying, "My daughter has been struck." He then sent a reply to his daughter, "To Allah belongs what He has taken, and to Him belongs what He has left." Then, the same thing happened to the third daughter, so the Prophet ﷺ came to her and she handed the baby to him. Suddenly, her breath was caught in her chest and there were some of his companions with the Prophet ﷺ , and his eyes shed tears until he held his beard. He noticed them looking at him and said, "Why are you looking at me?" They said, "O Messenger of Allah, we saw you becoming weak." He said, "It is a mercy which Allah puts in the hearts of whoever He wills. Verily, Allah bestows His Mercy only upon the merciful among His slaves."
