[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated from Malik, from Hisham ibn 'Urwah, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to 'Abdul-Rahman ibn 'Auf, "How did you handle the corner?" referring to the Black Stone. 'Abdul-Rahman said, "I touched it and left." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You have done it right."
[Machine] "I have a friend who says that the Commander of the Believers did not give you a satisfactory answer until he asked the man, and Umar heard some of his words, so Umar hit him with a pearl necklace, then he approached me to hit me, and I said, 'O Commander of the Believers, I did not say anything, he said it.' Then he left me and said, 'You wanted to kill the Haram and exceed the limits of fatwa.' Then he said, 'In a person there are ten qualities, nine good and one bad, which the bad one corrupts.' Then he said, 'And beware of the ten youths.'"

[Machine] "Abdul Rahman ibn Auf used to wear a shirt made of Karabees (a type of fabric) that reached half his shin, and his cloak would drag behind him."

[Machine] "Abdul Rahman ibn Auf was born ten years after the Year of the Elephant, and he passed away in the year one or year two and thirty, at the age of seventy-five. Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) led his funeral prayer."

[Machine] While Aisha was in her house, she heard a voice that shook the city. She said, "What is this?" They said, "A caravan has arrived for Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf from Sham (Syria), and it consisted of seven hundred camels." Aisha then said, "Indeed, I have heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, 'I saw Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf entering Paradise crawling.'" When Abd al-Rahman heard this, he came to her and asked her about what she had heard. She informed him, and he said, "Indeed, I bear witness that it is because of its burdens, tracks, and hooves in the path of Allah."

[Machine] Abdul Rahman ibn Awf donated a quarter of his wealth to the covenant of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , which amounted to four thousand [dinars], then he donated forty thousand [dinars], then he donated forty thousand [dinars] again. After that, he contributed five hundred horses in the way of Allah, and then he contributed one thousand and five hundred riding camels in the way of Allah. His wealth in general was from trade.
[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said, "If a plague breaks out in a land and you are in it, do not leave fleeing from it, and if it breaks out in a land that you are not in, do not enter it." Abu Al-Qasim said, this is narrated by Abdur Rahman ibn Yazid ibn Tamim and Sufyan ibn Husayn, and Ibn Abi Dhi'b contradicted them.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "Verily, this pain or this illness is a punishment with which those before you were punished. So, when it is on land that you are not present in, do not enter into it. And if it is in a land where you are present, do not flee from it." 'Umar then returned to the people that year.
That 'Abd al-Rahman b.'Awf said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: When you hear that it is breaking out in a certain territory, do not go there. If it breaks out in the territory you are in, do not go out fleeing away from it. By "it" he referred to the plague. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3103)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, this plague is a punishment with which Allah has destroyed some nations. And it remains on the earth, sometimes appearing and sometimes receding. So, if it happens while you are in a land, do not leave it. And if you hear of it in a land, do not enter it."
This calamity or illness was a punishment with which were punished some of the nations before you. Then it was left upon the earth. It goes away once and comes back again. He who heard of its presence in a land should not go towards it, and he who happened to be in a land where it had broken out should not fly from it. (Using translation from Muslim 2218f)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ mentioned the plague and said, "Indeed, it is a punishment that struck those who came before you or a torment that afflicted those before you. So, when you hear of it being in a land, do not enter it, and when it has befallen in a land while you are there, do not leave, fleeing from it."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, this epidemic is a punishment that previous nations were inflicted with. There remains on the earth a remnant of it, sometimes it occurs and sometimes it goes away. So, if it occurs in a land while you are in it, do not leave it. And if it occurs in a land where you are not present, do not enter it."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ mentioned the plague and said, "It is a punishment that befell those who came before you. So when you hear of it in a land, do not enter it, and if it occurs while you are in a land, do not leave in fleeing from it."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked, "Which part of the night is the best?" He replied, "The last third of the night, then any prayer offered after the dawn prayer is acceptable until the sun rises to the height of a spear or two spears, then the prayer is not accepted until the shadow of an object is the length of its own height. After that, any prayer offered is accepted until the sun reaches its zenith. Then the prayer is not accepted until the sun starts to decline. After that, any prayer offered is accepted until the sun sets."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked, "Which part of the night is most audible?" He said, "The latter part of the night, and then the prayers are accepted until the dawn prayer is performed. Then there is no prayer until the sun rises to the height of a spear or two spears. Then the prayers are accepted until the shadow of an object is equal to its length. Then there is no prayer until the sun moves past its zenith. Then the prayers are accepted until the sun begins to decline towards the west. Then there is no prayer until the sun sets."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ missed one of his companions and said, "Where were you? I did not see you. Did you not attend the prayer?" He said, "Yes, but I came while the people were already in their places, and I disliked to pass over people's heads." He said, "You have done well."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When a worker is employed and takes his rights and gives the rights to others, he is like a fighter in the cause of Allah until he returns to his home."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The prayer of Hajir is from the prayer of the night." So I asked Abdullah bin Humaid about Hajir, and he said, "It is when the sun sets."
[Machine] Abdul Rahman ibn Awf heard a man from the Banu Hashim tribe saying, "I am the most deserving of the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ companionship." He said, "Others are more deserving of him than you, and his lineage is with you."
[Machine] Umamah bint Abi al-As was hit with a stone, so Zainab, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , sent a message to him saying, "My daughter has been struck." He then sent a reply to his daughter, "To Allah belongs what He has taken, and to Him belongs what He has left." The same thing happened to the second daughter, so she sent a message to him saying, "My daughter has been struck." He then sent a reply to his daughter, "To Allah belongs what He has taken, and to Him belongs what He has left." Then, the same thing happened to the third daughter, so the Prophet ﷺ came to her and she handed the baby to him. Suddenly, her breath was caught in her chest and there were some of his companions with the Prophet ﷺ , and his eyes shed tears until he held his beard.
