[Machine] While I was striking a boy for myself, I heard a voice from behind me saying, "Know, Abu Mas'ud." So I turned around and it was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . The whip fell from my hand out of awe for him, and he said, "By Allah, indeed Allah has more power over you than you have over this."
[Machine] I witnessed a craft in it from Abu Mas'ud and Qaradha bin Ka'b and Jawar who were singing, so I said, "Glory be to Allah! Do you do this while you are the companions of Muhammad ﷺ and the people of Badr?" They replied, "We have been granted permission to sing during weddings and cry without wailing."
[Machine] "It is not from the tradition to pray before the Imam exits on the day of Eid."
[Machine] We were with Ali when Uqbah ibn Abi Mu'assad came to him. Ali said to him, "Do I not see you giving people fatwas?" Uqbah replied, "Indeed, I inform them that the future is evil." Ali said, "Tell us what you heard from the Prophet ﷺ regarding the century." Uqbah said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'A century will not pass over the people, while there is an oppressive ruler on the earth.'" Ali said, "You made a mistake, for he actually said, 'On that day, happiness and joy will not come to anyone on the face of the earth, except after a hundred years.'"
[Machine] Abu Mas'ud, we were with the Prophet ﷺ in a battle. The people became exhausted until I saw sadness on the faces of the Muslims and joy on the faces of the hypocrites. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw this, he said, "By Allah, the sun will not set until Allah brings sustenance to you." Uthman realized that Allah and His Messenger would be truthful, so Uthman bought forty camels with the food they had and presented nine of them to the Prophet ﷺ . When the Prophet ﷺ saw this, he asked, "What is this?" They replied, "Uthman has gifted them to you." The joy was seen on the face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the sadness on the faces of the hypocrites. I saw the Prophet ﷺ raise his hands until the whiteness of his armpits was visible, praying for Uthman in a way I have never heard him pray for anyone before or after, saying, "O Allah, give Uthman, O Allah, treat Uthman."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered a compartment and said, "A man from the people of Jannah [Paradise] will now enter upon you." Then Abu Bakr As-Siddiq entered, and he said the same thing. Then Umar entered, and he said the same thing. Then he said, "A man from the people of Jannah will now enter upon you. O Allah, make him Ali." Then Ali entered.
[Machine] A man came to the Messenger of Allah, may ﷺ , and sat in front of him. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, we know how to greet you with peace, but how do we pray upon you?" The Messenger of Allah became angry until we wished the man who asked him had not asked him. He said, "When you pray upon me, say, 'O Allah, bless Muhammad, the unlettered Prophet, and his family, as You have blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Verily, You are praiseworthy and glorious.'"
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ who said, "Is anyone of you incapable of reciting one third of the Qur'an in a single night?" They said, "O Messenger of Allah, who among us can recite one third of the Qur'an?" He replied, "Say: He is Allah, [who is] One."

One of the things people have learnt from the words of the earliest prophecy is : If you have no shame, do what you like. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4797)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The last of what was said in the first prophecy: If you do not feel shame, then do as you wish."
The Prophet ﷺ said, "One of the sayings of the prophets which the people have got is, 'If you do not feel ashamed, then do whatever you like." (Using translation from Bukhārī 3484)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "One of the sayings from the early prophethood that I have grasped is, 'If you do not feel shame, then do as you wish.'"

[Machine] A man of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ said, "We started fasting the complete thirty days of Ramadan. Then two Bedouin men came and testified before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that they sighted the moon of the previous night, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered them to break their fast." This is the wording of the hadith of Abu Hudhayfah.
[Machine] "The people started fasting to complete thirty days, when two men came and testified that they had seen the new moon yesterday. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded the people, and they broke their fast. No one in this narration mentioned Ibn Uyaynah or anyone other than Abu Mas'ud except Ishaq ibn Isma'il al-Talaaqani."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, the angels received the soul of a man who was before you, and they said to him, 'Did you ever do any good?' He said, 'No, except that I used to give loans to people, and I would command my young men to be lenient with those who were in a difficult financial situation.'" Then Allah (may He be glorified) said, "Be lenient."
[Machine] I saw Abu Masood when Ali was killed, so I followed him and said, "I urge you by Allah, what did you hear from the Prophet ﷺ regarding trials?" He said, "We do not hide anything from you out of fear of Allah, and we advise you to fear Allah and stick to the community. Beware of division, for it is misguidance. Indeed, Allah ﷻ would never gather the nation of Muhammad ﷺ on misguidance."
[Machine] Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari, when Uthman was killed, he secluded himself in his house. I entered upon him and asked him about the situation of the people. He said, "Adhere to the congregation, for Allah has not gathered the nation of Muhammad on misguidance. Be patient until a righteous person emerges or a corrupt one is removed."

[Machine] Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari set out in this direction and I went with him until we reached As-Sailhin, where he stopped and I stopped with him. When I saw that he had relieved himself, I approached him and said, "O Abu Mas'ud, there were three companions of Muhammad ﷺ among us. Hudhaifah died, and as for Abu Musa, he went to Sham (Syria) while you stayed behind in this place. And there have been some trials that you can see." He said to me, "O Yaseer, indeed I am an advisor. Stick with the group because Allah would not allow the nation of Muhammad ﷺ to unite upon misguidance until a virtuous person has settled or a wicked person has found ease."

[Machine] Salem Al-Barad told me and he was more trustworthy than myself. He said Abu Mas'ud Al-Badri said to us, "Should I not pray for you the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" So when he bowed, he placed his hands on his knees, spread his fingers apart, and kept his upper arms away from his sides until everything settled. Then he said Allahu Akbar and prostrated, keeping his upper arms away from his sides until everything settled. Then he said Allahu Akbar and sat back until everything settled. He prayed four units of prayer with us like this. Then he said, "This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying, or this is how the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was."
"Shall I not show you how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray?" We said: "Yes." So he stood up and when he bowed, he placed his palms on his knees and put his fingers behind his knees, and held his arms out from his sides, until every part of him settled. Then he raised his head and stood up until every part of him settled. Then he prostrated and held his arms out from his sides, until every part of him settled. Then he sat up until every part of him settled. Then he prostrated again until every part of him settled. Then he did four rak'ahs like that. Then he said: "This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray, and this is how he used to lead us in prayer." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1037)

We said yes, so he stood up and said takbir, then he bowed and put his hands on his knees, with his fingers below his knees and his armpits aligned until everything was in its place. Then he raised his head and prostrated, placing his palms on the ground and spreading his fingers between his armpits. He raised his head when everything was settled, and he did the same for four units of prayer. Then he said, 'This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying with us.'"

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ, when he lifted his back, even if water was poured on his back, it would stay still.
