[Machine] Hudhaifah, I know what the Dajjal possesses. He has with him a river of fire and a river of water. And what people see as fire is actually water, and what people see as water is actually fire. So, whoever among you is able to understand this, let him drink from what he sees as fire, for he will find it to be water. Abu Mas'ood said, "And this is how I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying."
[Machine] A man among those who came before you ordered that his body be cremated when he dies, then ground up and scattered in the wind. When a strong wind blew and scattered his remains, they were gathered and brought before his Lord. He said, "What led you to this?" He replied, "O Lord, no servant has ever been bolder with you than me, nor more disobedient to you. So, I hoped for your forgiveness and you forgave him." Abu Mas'ud said, "I heard this from the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ ."
[Machine] "To burn him, then crush him, then throw him into a day that is hot and windy. So they did, and he was gathered to his Lord, Exalted and Mighty. And He said, 'What has led you to what you have done?' He said, 'It was not for you, my Lord, to have a servant who disobeyed You more than me. So I hoped to be saved.' He said, 'Overlook it, My servant,' and He forgave him. Abu Mas'ud said, 'I heard this from the mouth of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).'"
[Machine] A man came to his Lord, the Exalted and Mighty, who said, "What have you done for Me in the world?" He replied, "I have not done for You even the weight of an atom of good, except that You have given me wealth and I have engaged in business with people. It is from my character to forgive and be gentle with the person in debt, and to give respite to the one in hardship." Allah said, "We are more deserving of that, so forgive my servant." And He forgave him. Abu Mas'ud reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "

[Machine] Allah brought forth one of His servants and asked him: "What have you done?" The servant responded: "I have not done much in terms of prayers and fasting, except that I came to you seeking your blessings with the wealth you bestowed upon me. I interacted with people, helped those in need, and forgave the indebted." Allah then said: "We are more entitled to that, so forgive my servant." And Allah forgave him.
[Machine] Narrated Al-Qa'nabi, Shu'bah reported from Mansur, who reported from Rib'iy bin Hira'sh, who reported from Abu Mas'ud that he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "From the Prophethood speech that people will remember is that if you feel no shame, do as you wish."

[Machine] A man of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ said, "We started fasting the complete thirty days of Ramadan. Then two Bedouin men came and testified before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that they sighted the moon of the previous night, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered them to break their fast." This is the wording of the hadith of Abu Hudhayfah.

So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded the people, and they broke their fast. No one in this narration mentioned Ibn Uyaynah or anyone other than Abu Mas'ud except Ishaq ibn Isma'il al-Talaaqani."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, the angels received the soul of a man who was before you, and they said to him, 'Did you ever do any good?' He said, 'No, except that I used to give loans to people, and I would command my young men to be lenient with those who were in a difficult financial situation.'" Then Allah (may He be glorified) said, "Be lenient."
[Machine] I saw Abu Masood when Ali was killed, so I followed him and said, "I urge you by Allah, what did you hear from the Prophet ﷺ regarding trials?" He said, "We do not hide anything from you out of fear of Allah, and we advise you to fear Allah and stick to the community. Beware of division, for it is misguidance. Indeed, Allah ﷻ would never gather the nation of Muhammad ﷺ on misguidance."
[Machine] Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari, when Uthman was killed, he secluded himself in his house. I entered upon him and asked him about the situation of the people. He said, "Adhere to the congregation, for Allah has not gathered the nation of Muhammad on misguidance. Be patient until a righteous person emerges or a corrupt one is removed."

[Machine] Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari set out in this direction and I went with him until we reached As-Sailhin, where he stopped and I stopped with him. When I saw that he had relieved himself, I approached him and said, "O Abu Mas'ud, there were three companions of Muhammad ﷺ among us. Hudhaifah died, and as for Abu Musa, he went to Sham (Syria) while you stayed behind in this place. And there have been some trials that you can see." He said to me, "O Yaseer, indeed I am an advisor. Stick with the group because Allah would not allow the nation of Muhammad ﷺ to unite upon misguidance until a virtuous person has settled or a wicked person has found ease."
[Machine] Salem Al-Barad told me and he was more trustworthy than myself. He said Abu Mas'ud Al-Badri said to us, "Should I not pray for you the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" So when he bowed, he placed his hands on his knees, spread his fingers apart, and kept his upper arms away from his sides until everything settled. Then he said Allahu Akbar and prostrated, keeping his upper arms away from his sides until everything settled. Then he said Allahu Akbar and sat back until everything settled. He prayed four units of prayer with us like this. Then he said, "This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying, or this is how the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was."
"Shall I not show you how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray?" We said: "Yes." So he stood up and when he bowed, he placed his palms on his knees and put his fingers behind his knees, and held his arms out from his sides, until every part of him settled. Then he raised his head and stood up until every part of him settled. Then he prostrated and held his arms out from his sides, until every part of him settled. Then he sat up until every part of him settled. Then he prostrated again until every part of him settled. Then he did four rak'ahs like that. Then he said: "This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray, and this is how he used to lead us in prayer." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1037)

He raised his head when everything was settled, and he did the same for four units of prayer. Then he said, 'This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying with us.'"

[Machine] Abu Mas'ud, we were with the Prophet ﷺ in a battle. The people became exhausted until I saw sadness on the faces of the Muslims and joy on the faces of the hypocrites. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw this, he said, "By Allah, the sun will not set until Allah brings sustenance to you." Uthman realized that Allah and His Messenger would be truthful, so Uthman bought forty camels with the food they had and presented nine of them to the Prophet ﷺ . When the Prophet ﷺ saw this, he asked, "What is this?" They replied, "Uthman has gifted them to you." The joy was seen on the face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the sadness on the faces of the hypocrites. I saw the Prophet ﷺ raise his hands until the whiteness of his armpits was visible, praying for Uthman in a way I have never heard him pray for anyone before or after, saying, "O Allah, give Uthman, O Allah, treat Uthman."
