So he said, "I do not find in myself, so ask about what is apparent to you." He said, "I adjure you by Allah, your God, and the God of those before you, and the God of those who will come after you. Allah has commanded you to order us to worship Allah alone and not associate anything with Him, and to remove these idols that our fathers used to worship besides Him." He said, "O Allah, yes." He said, "I adjure you by Allah, your God, and the God of those before you, and the God of those who will come after you. Allah has commanded you to order us to pray these five daily prayers." He said, "O Allah, yes." Then he began to mention the obligations of Islam one by one, the obligatory acts of charity, fasting, pilgrimage, and all the laws of Islam, and he would adjure him after each obligation, just as he had done before it, until he finished. Then he said, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. I will fulfill these obligations and avoid what you have forbidden me. I will not exceed them or diminish them." Then he turned to his camel and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If he spoke the truth about the two braids, he will enter Paradise."

[Machine] A man from the Banu Saad bin Bakr tribe came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who was breastfeeding from them. The man said, "O son of Abdul-Muttalib, I have come to you as a guest of my people and their messenger. I am asking you and my request is urgent, so my plea is strong. Do not refuse me." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Yes, go ahead." The man said, "Tell me about the creation of the heavens and the earth, Paradise, and Hell." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah." The man said, "I am asking you to bear witness that there is no deity but Allah, and to abandon Lat and Uzza." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Yes." The man continued, "I am asking you to bear witness that Allah has sent you with the Book and has sent us your messengers, commanding us to testify that there is no deity but Allah and to abandon Lat and Uzza." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Yes." The man asked, "I am asking you if it is your command that we pray five times a day and night." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Yes." The man asked further, "I am asking you if it is your command that we fast for one month every year." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Yes." The man asked again, "I am asking you if it is your command that we perform Hajj to the House of Allah in Dhul-Hijjah." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Yes." The man said, "These are the five things, and I will not increase upon them." When the man turned to leave, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If he does as he said, he will enter Paradise."

The man continued, "Tell me, who created the seven heavens and the seven earths and caused provision to flow between them?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Allah." The man asked again, "Is it Allah who sent you?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Yes." The man then said, "We have found in your book that your messengers have commanded us to pray five prayers at their appointed times throughout the day and night. Is this your command?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Yes." The man continued, "We have also found in your book that your messengers have commanded us to fast during the month of Ramadan. Is this your command?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Yes." The man also said, "We have found in your book that your messengers have commanded us to take a portion of our wealth and give it to the needy among us. Is this your command?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Yes." The man then said, "As for the fifth matter, I will not ask you about it, nor do I have any concern about it, which refers to indecent acts." The Prophet ﷺ laughed until his molars became visible and said, "By the One who sent me with the truth, I will indeed act upon it. Whoever among my people obeys me and then turns back, I will laugh at him." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, if he is truthful, he will enter paradise."
