[Machine] About wearing silk, except for the space of two fingers or three or four, Dawood ibn Abi Hind and Ismail and Wabra have held the opinion.
عَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ إِلَّا مَوْضِعَ إِصْبَعَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثَةً أَوْ أَرْبَعَةً وَقَفَهُ دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ وَوَبْرَةُ
'Umar addressed us at a place known as Jabiya (Syria) and he said: Allah's Apostle ﷺ forbade us the wearing of silk but to the extent of two or three fingers or four fingers.
نَهَى نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ إِلاَّ مَوْضِعَ إِصْبَعَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاَثٍ أَوْ أَرْبَعٍ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade wearing silk except the width of two fingers or three or four - and he gestured with his hand.
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ إِلَّا مَوْضِعَ أُصْبُعَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاثَةٍ أَوْ أَرْبَعَةٍ وَأَشَارَ بِكَفِّهِ
"أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ إِلَّا أُصْبُعَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثَةً أَوْ أَرْبَعَةً".
