الكبرى للنسائي:٩٥٥٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ غَفَلَةَ أَنَّ عُمَرَ خَطَبَ بِالْجَابِيَةِ فَقَالَ §نَهَى نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ

عَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ إِلَّا مَوْضِعَ إِصْبَعَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثَةً أَوْ أَرْبَعَةً وَقَفَهُ دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ وَوَبْرَةُ

'Umar addressed us at a place known as Jabiya (Syria) and he said: Allah's Apostle ﷺ forbade us the wearing of silk but to the extent of two or three fingers or four fingers.

نَهَى نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ إِلاَّ مَوْضِعَ إِصْبَعَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاَثٍ أَوْ أَرْبَعٍ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade wearing silk except the width of two fingers or three or four - and he gestured with his hand.  

أحمد:٣٦٥ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ غَفَلَةَأَنَّ عُمَرَ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ بِالْجَابِيَةِ فَقَالَ

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ إِلَّا مَوْضِعَ أُصْبُعَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاثَةٍ أَوْ أَرْبَعَةٍ وَأَشَارَ بِكَفِّهِ
