[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and said, 'Verily, your uncle, the misguided, has passed away. Who will shroud him?' I said, 'Go and shroud your father and do not speak of anything until you come to me.' So I did as he instructed, then I went to him. He ordered me to perform ablution, so I did, and he supplicated for me with supplications that pleased me more than the entire world.'"  

الكبرى للنسائي:٨٤٨١ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَاسِمٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ نَاجِيَةَ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْأَسَدِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ

أَنَّهُ جَاءَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ عَمَّكَ الشَّيْخَ الضَّالَّ قَدْ مَاتَ فَمَنْ يُوَارِيهِ؟» قَالَ «اذْهَبْ فَوَارِ أَبَاكَ وَلَا تُحْدِثْ حَدَثًا حَتَّى تَأْتِيَنِي فَفَعَلْتُ ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُهُ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَغْتَسِلَ فَاغْتَسَلْتُ وَدَعَا لِي بِدَعَوَاتٍ مَا يَسُرُّنِي مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْهُنَّ»

"I said to the Prophet: 'Your paternal uncle, the old misguided man has died. Who will bury him?' He said: 'Go and bury your father, then do not do anything until you come to me.' So I buried him then I came, and he told me to perform Ghusl and he prayed for me, and he mentioned a supplication that I do not remember."'

abudawud:3214 – Musaddad > Yaḥyá > Sufyān > Abū Isḥāq > Nājiyah b. Kaʿb > ʿAlī ʿAlayh al-Salām

I said to the Prophet ﷺ: Your old and astray uncle has died. He said: Go and bury your father, and then do not do anything until you come to me. So I went, buried him and came to him. He ordered me (to take a bath), so I took a bath, and he prayed for me.  

أبو داود:٣٢١٤ – حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ نَاجِيَةَ بْنِ كَعْبٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ قَالَ

" عَنْ عَلِىٍّ قَالَ: لَمَّا مَاتَ أبُو طَالِبٍ أتَيْتُ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ فَقُلتُ: يَا رَسُولَ الله إِنَّ عَمَّكَ الشَّيْخَ الضَّالَّ قَدْ مَاتَ فَقَالَ: انْطَلِقْ فَوَارِهِ، ثُمَّ لاَ تُحْدِثَنَّ شَيْئًا حَتَّى تَأتيَنِى، فَوَارَيْتُهُ ثُمَّ أتيْتُهُ فَأَمَرَنِى فَاغْتَسَلتُ ثُمَّ دَعَا لِى بِدعَوَاتٍ مَا أُحِبُ أَنَّ لى بِهِنَّ مَا عَلَى الأَرْضِ مِنْ شَىْءٍ".
