The Prophet ﷺ saw expectoration in the direction of the Qibla of the mosque while he was leading the prayer, and scratched it off. After finishing the prayer, he said, "Whenever any of you is in prayer he should know that Allah is in front of him. So none should spit in front of him in the prayer."  

أَنَّهُ قَالَ رَأَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ وَهْوَ يُصَلِّي بَيْنَ يَدَىِ النَّاسِ فَحَتَّهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ حِينَ انْصَرَفَ إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا كَانَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ فَلاَ يَتَنَخَّمَنَّ أَحَدٌ قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ رَوَاهُ مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ وَابْنُ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ  

While the Prophet ﷺ was praying, he saw sputum (on the wall) of the mosque, in the direction of the Qibla, and so he scraped it off with his hand, and the sign of disgust (was apparent from his face) and then said, "Whenever anyone of you is in prayer, he should not spit in front of him (in prayer) because Allah is in front of him."  

بَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي رَأَى فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ نُخَامَةً فَحَكَّهَا بِيَدِهِ فَتَغَيَّظَ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا كَانَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ حِيَالَ وَجْهِهِ فَلاَ يَتَنَخَّمَنَّ حِيَالَ وَجْهِهِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ  

"The Messenger of Allah saw some sputum in the prayer direction of the mosque, when he was praying in front of the people. He scratched it off, then when the prayer was over, he said: 'When anyone of you is performing prayer, Allah is before him, so none of you should spit toward the front while praying.'"  

رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي بَيْنَ يَدَىِ النَّاسِ فَحَتَّهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ حِينَ انْصَرَفَ مِنَ الصَّلاَةِ إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا كَانَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ كَانَ اللَّهُ قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ فَلاَ يَتَنَخَّمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allahﷺ noticed a piece of mucus in the direction of the mosque's qibla. He wiped it away with his hand and then turned to the people, expressing his displeasure with them. He then said, "Indeed, Allah the Exalted faces one of you during their prayer, so none of you should blow their nose towards the direction of their face during their prayer."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَبْصَرَ نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِالْمَسْجِدِ فَحَتَّهَا بِيَدِهِ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى النَّاسِ فَتَغَيَّظَ عَلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى تِلْقَاءَ وَجْهِ أَحَدِكُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَلَا يَتَنَخَّمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ فِي صَلَاتِهِ  

"The Messenger of Allah saw some sputum in the prayer direction of the mosque, when he was praying in front of the people. He scratched it off, then when the prayer was over, he said: 'When anyone of you is performing prayer, Allah is before him, so none of you should spit toward the front while praying.'" [Machine] The Prophet ﷺ saw some spittle in the direction of the mosque's qibla, so he stood up and wiped it away with his hand. Then, he faced the people and became angry at them, saying, "Indeed, Allah, the Almighty, looks at the face of one of you during his prayer, so none of you should spit in the direction of his face during prayer."  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَأَى نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَامَ فَحَكَّهَا أَوْ قَالَ فَحَتَّهَا بِيَدِهِ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى النَّاسِ فَتَغَيَّظَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَقَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ قِبَلَ وَجْهِ أَحَدِكُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَلَا يَتَنَخَّمَنَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ فِي صَلَاتِهِ  

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw some phlegm in the direction of the Qibla of the mosque, so he spat on it and then said, 'If anyone of you is in prayer, he should not spit, for indeed Allah, the Most High, faces the face of one of you in prayer.'"  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَأَى نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِفَحَتَّهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَلَا يَتَنَخَّمْ يَعْنِي فَإِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى قِبَلَ وَجْهِ أَحَدِكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw some impurity in the direction of the mosque, so he cleaned it up and then faced the people and said, "If any of you is in prayer, he should not spit towards the direction of his face, for indeed Allah, the Most High, faces the face of one of you when he is in prayer."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَأَى نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَحَتَّهَا ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى النَّاسِ فَقَالَ إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَلَا يَتَنَخَّمْ قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ فَإِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى قِبَلَ وَجْهِ أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا كَانَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ  

"إِنَّ أحَدَكُمْ إِذَا كانَ في الصَّلاة فَإنَّ اللَّهَ قِبَلَ وَجْههِ، فَلَا يَتَنَخَّمَنَّ أحدٌ منكم قِبَلَ وَجْههِ في الصلاةِ".
