TABARANI 1889:
from Jābir b. Samurah —
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in the house of Abu Ayyub. Whenever food was brought to him, he would eat from it and send some of it, by virtue of his blessing, to Abu Ayyub. One time, food was brought to him and it contained garlic. He did not eat from it and sent it to Abu Ayyub. Abu Ayyub did not eat from it either, as he did not see any trace of the Prophet ﷺ in it. Then, he went to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him about it. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, is it forbidden?" He replied, "No, but I dislike it because of its smell." Abu Ayyub said, "Indeed, I dislike what you dislike."
