“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Do not lift your gaze to the heavens lest your sight be snatched away,” meaning during prayer. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1043)  

ابن حبّان:٢٢٨١ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّامِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْأَيْلِيِّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَرْفَعُوا أَبْصَارَكُمْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ أَنْ تُلْتَمَعَ» يَعْنِي فِي الصَّلَاةِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you is praying, do not raise his gaze to the sky, for it will not be returned to him."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ يُصَلِّي فَلَا يَرْفَعْ بَصَرَهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ لَا يَلْتَمِعُ»
