[Machine] The messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Abu Dharr, how do you act when you are among the common folk?" He then intertwined his fingers and I said, "O messenger of Allah, what do you order me to do?" He said, "Be patient, be patient, be patient. Deal with people according to their manners and go against them in their actions."  

الحاكم:٥٤٦٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفَقِيهُ وَأَبُو إِسْحَاقَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقَارِئُ الزَّاهِدُ قَالَا ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو تَوْبَةَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ثَنَا رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ كَيْفَ أَنْتَ إِذَا كُنْتَ فِي حُثَالَةٍ؟» وَشَبَّكَ بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِهِ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَمَا تَأْمُرُنِي؟ قَالَ «اصْبِرْ اصْبِرْ اصْبِرْ خَالِقُوا النَّاسَ بِأَخْلَاقِهِمْ وَخَالِفُوهُمْ فِي أَعْمَالِهِمْ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ ابن يزيد لم يخرجوا له

"كَيفَ أَنْتُمْ مِن قَوْمٍ مَرِجتْ (*) عُهُودُهُم وَأَيمَانُهُم وَأَمَانَاتُهُم وَصَارُوا هَكَذَا - وَشَبَّكَ بَينَ أَصَابعِهِ -؟ قَالُوا: كَيفَ نَصْنَعُ يَا رَسُولَ الله؟ قَال: اصْبِرُوا وَخَالِقُوا النَّاسَ بِأَخْلاقِهمْ، وَخَالِفُوهُمْ فِي أَعْمَالِهِمْ".
