bukhari:581 – Ḥafṣ b. ʿUmar > Hishām > Qatādah > Abū al-ʿĀliyah > Ibn ʿAbbās > Shahid ʿIndī Rijāl Marḍiyyūn And ʾArḍāhum ʿIndī ʿUmar

"The Prophet ﷺ forbade praying after the Fajr prayer till the sun rises and after the ʿAsr prayer till the sun sets." Narrated Ibn ʿAbbas: Some people told me the same narration (as above).  

البخاري:٥٨١ – حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

شَهِدَ عِنْدِي رِجَالٌ مَرْضِيُّونَ وَأَرْضَاهُمْ عِنْدِي عُمَرُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَشْرُقَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْعَالِيَةِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي نَاسٌ بِهَذَا

Some men of good character, among whom was ‘Umar, who is the best of them in my view, testified in my presence that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade praying after Fajr prayer until the sun rose, and after Asr prayer until it (the sun) set.

"عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: شَهِدَ عِنْدِى (رِجالٌ مَرْضِيُّونَ) وَأَرْضَاهم عِنْدِى عُمَرُ - أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ صَلَاةٍ بَعْدَ العَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمسُ، وَعَنْ صَلَاةٍ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَشْرُقَ الشَّمسُ (*) ".
