The Prophet ﷺ said, "One can ride the mortgaged animal because of what one spends on it, and one can drink the milk of a milch animal as long as it is mortgaged. "
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ الرَّهْنُ يُرْكَبُ بِنَفَقَتِهِ وَيُشْرَبُ لَبَنُ الدَّرِّ إِذَا كَانَ مَرْهُونًا

“A mount may be ridden when it is pawned, and its milk may be drunk when it is pawned, but the one who rides it or milks it must pay for its upkeep.' ” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2440)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الظَّهْرُ يُرْكَبُ بِنَفَقَتِهِ إِذَا كَانَ مَرْهُونًا وَيُشْرَبُ لَبَنُ الدَّرِّ إِذَا كَانَ مَرْهُونًا وَعَلَى الَّذِي يَشْرَبُ وَيَرْكَبُ نَفَقَتُهُ
