Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If a fly falls in the vessel of any of you, let him dip all of it (into the vessel) and then throw it away, for in one of its wings there is a disease and in the other there is healing (antidote for it) i e. the treatment for that disease."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ كُلَّهُ ثُمَّ لْيَطْرَحْهُ فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ شِفَاءً وَفِي الآخَرِ دَاءً

when a fly alights in anyone’s vessel, he should plunge it all in, for in one of its wings there is a disease, and in the other is a cure. It prevents the wing of it is which there is a cure, so plunge it all in (the vessel).

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَامْقُلُوهُ فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءً وَفِي الآخَرِ شِفَاءً وَإِنَّهُ يَتَّقِي بِجَنَاحِهِ الَّذِي فِيهِ الدَّاءُ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ كُلَّهُ

“If a fly falls into your drink, dip it into it then throw it away, for on one of its wings is a disease and on the other is a cure.”

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي شَرَابِكُمْ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ فِيهِ ثُمَّ لْيَطْرَحْهُ فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءً وَفِي الآخَرِ شِفَاءً

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If a fly falls in the drink of one of you, he should dip it all in and then remove it, for in one of its wings there is a disease and in the other there is a cure."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا سَقَطَ الذُّبَابٌ فِي شَرَابِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ كُلَّهُ ثُمَّ لِيَنْزِعْهُ فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءً وَفِي الْآخَرِ شِفَاءً»

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "When a fly falls into the vessel of any one of you, let him immerse it, for indeed in one of its wings there is a disease and in the other there is a cure." Abu Muhammad said, "Except for Hammaad, Thumamah, and Anas in the place of Abu Hurayrah, and a group that says it is from al-Qaqa' (another narrator) from Abu Hurayrah." And the narration of Ubayd ibn Hunayn is the most authentic.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابٌ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءً وَفِي الْآخَرِ شِفَاءً قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد قَالَ غَيْرُ حَمَّادٍ ثُمَامَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ مَكَانَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَقَوْمٌ يَقُولُونَ عَنْ الْقَعْقَاعِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ «وَحَدِيثُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ أَصَحُّ»

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ: When a fly falls into one of your containers, let it be submerged, for indeed in one of its wings there is a cure and in the other there is a disease.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ شِفَاءً وَالْآخَرِ دَاءً

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said: If a fly falls into one of your utensils, then dip it entirely, for one of its wings carries a disease and the other carries a cure.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءً وَفِي الْآخَرِ دَوَاءً

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, in one of the wings of the fly there is a disease, and in the other there is a cure. So if the fly falls into the vessel of one of you, then let him immerse it and then take it out."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ الذُّبَابَ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءٌ وَفِي الْآخَرِ شِفَاءٌ فَإِذَا وَقَعَ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَإِنَّهُ يَتَّقِي بِالَّذِي فِيهِ الدَّاءُ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُهُ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "If a fly falls into the vessel of one of you, then dip it in and take it out, for indeed in one of its wings there is a disease, and in the other, there is a cure." Hammād and Habīb bin al-Shahīd narrated from Muhammad bin Sīrīn, from Abu Huraira, from the Prophet ﷺ with a similar wording.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءً وَفِي الْآخَرِ دَوَاءً قَالَ حَمَّادٌ وَحَبِيبُ بْنُ الشَّهِيدِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ and from Habib ibn Al-Shahid, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "If a fly falls into one of your containers, immerse it in it, for indeed in one of its wings there is a disease, and in the other wing there is a cure." And Affan said once: "Indeed, in one of its wings there is..."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَعَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءً وَالْآخَرِ دَوَاءً وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ مَرَّةً فَإِنَّ أَحَدَ جَنَاحَيْهِ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If a fly falls in the vessel of any of you, let him dip all of it (into the vessel) and then throw it away, for in one of its wings there is a disease and in the other there is healing (antidote for it) i e. the treatment for that disease." أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي شَرَابِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ كُلَّهُ ثُمَّ لِيَطْرَحْهُ فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِشِفَاءً وَفِي الْآخَرِ دَاءً

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If a fly falls into the food or drink of one of you, he should dip it (the fly) and then take it out, for one of its wings carries disease and the other carries the cure. Then he should take what he needs from it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي طَعَامِ أَحَدِكُمْ أَوْ شَرَابِهِ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ إِذَا أَخْرَجَهُ فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءً وَفِي الْآخَرِ شِفَاءً وَإِنَّهُ يُقَدِّمُ الدَّاءَ

[AI] Concerning the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "If a fly falls into one of your containers, then dip it fully in, for indeed in its one wing there is a disease and in the other wing there is a cure."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الْإِسْلَامَ بَدَأَ غَرِيبًا وَسَيَعُودُ كَمَا بَدَأَ فَطُوبَى لِلْغُرَبَاءِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ سَعْدٍ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ

قَالَ سَمِعْتَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ سَعْدٍ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ سَاقِي الْقَوْمِ آخِرُهُمْ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ بِنَحْوِهِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلَمُه يُروَى عَن أَنَس إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بهذا الإسناد

أَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءً وَفِي الآخَرِ شِفَاءً وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى عَن أَنَس إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الإسناد

قال النَّبِيّ ﷺ إذا سقط الذباب في شراب أحدكم فليغمسه كله ثُمَّ لينزعه فإن في إحدى جناحيه داء وفي الآخر شفاء وهذا الكلام قد رُوِيَ عَن أبي هُرَيرة من غير وجه وروي عَن أبي سَعِيد وعَن أَنَس

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ ثُمَّ يخرجه فإن في إحدى جناحيه داء وفي الآخر دواء وإنه يبدأ بالداء فاغمسوه ثُمَّ أخرجوه وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَن ابْنِ عَجْلان عن القعقاع إلاَّ مُحَمد بن قيس وقد خولف فيه عَن ابن عجلان

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ فيه فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءً وَفِي الآخَرِ دواء

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If a fly falls into the drink of one of you, then immerse it completely and then remove it, for in one of its wings there is a disease and in the other wing there is a cure."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا سَقَطَ الذُّبَابُ فِي شَرَابِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ كُلَّهُ ثُمَّ لِيَنْزِعْهُ فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءٌ وَفِي الْآخَرِ شِفَاءٌ

“On one of the wings of a fly there is a poison and on the other is the cure. If it falls into the food, then dip it into it, for it puts the poison first and holds back the cure.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3504)

"إِذَا وقَعَ الذُّبابُ في إناءِ أحدِكُمْ فليَمْقُله فيه، فإنَّ في أحد جناحَيهْ سُمًّا وفي الآخِر شفاءً، وإنه يُقَدِّمُ السُّمَ ويؤخِّرُ الشِّفاءَ".

"إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ في إناء أحدكُمْ فامْقُلوه، فإنَّ في أَحد جناحيه داءً وفي الآخَرِ دواءً".

The Prophet ﷺ said "If a house fly falls in the drink of anyone of you, he should dip it (in the drink) and take it out, for one of its wings has a disease and the other has the cure for the disease." (Using translation from Bukhārī 3320)

"إِذَا وقَعَ الذُّبابُ في شراب أحدِكُمْ فليَغمسْه، ثُمَّ لينزِعْه، فإنَّه في إِحْدى جناحِيه داءً، وفي الآخر شفاءً".

"إِذَا وقَعَ الذُّبابُ في إناء أحدكُمْ فليغْمِسْهُ فإِنَّ في أحد جناحَيه داءً وفي الآخرِ شفاءً، وإنَّه يَتَّقى بجناحِه الَّذِي فيه الدَّاءُ، فَليغْمِسْه كلَّه، ثم ليَنْزِعْهُ" .

" الذُّبَابُ في أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيه دَاءٌ وفِى الآخَر شِفَاءٌ، فَإِذَا وَقَعَ عَلَى الطَّعَامِ فاغْمِسُوه ليهِ، يُذْهِبُ الله الداءَ بالدواء".
