The imam is responsible and the mu'adhdhin is trusted, O Allah, guide the imams and forgive the mu'adhdhins.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ اللَّهُمَّ أَرْشِدِ الأَئِمَّةَ وَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ

Messenger of Allah said: "The Imam is answerable and the Mu'adh-dhin is entrusted. O Allah! Guide the Imams and pardon the Mu'adh-dhins."

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الإمام ضامن والمؤذن مؤتمن اللهم أرشد الأئمة واغفر للمؤذنين قالوا يا رسول الله لقد تركتنا نتنافس في الأذان بعدك فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أنه يكون بعدي أو بعدك قوم سفلتهم مؤذنوهم وهذا الحديثُ قد روى صدره جماعة عن الأعمش على اضطرابهم فيه وفي إسناده وآخر هذا الحديث لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ إلاَّ أبو حمزة السكري ولم يتابع عليه

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ تَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ فَأَرْشَدَ اللهُ الْإِمَامَ وَعَفَا عَنِ الْمُؤَذِّنِ وَقَدْ قِيلَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

[AI] He said, "The one who calls the adhan will have his voice forgiven and every moist and dry particle will testify to it." He said, "And I heard him say, 'Verily, the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "The imam is responsible and the muadhin is trustworthy. O Allah, guide the imams and forgive the muadhins.'" This way."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ يُغْفَرُ لَهُ مَدَى صَوْتِهِ وَيُصَدِّقُهُ كُلُّ رَطْبٍ وَيَابِسٍ قَالَ وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ اللهُمَّ أَرْشِدِ الْأَئِمَّةَ وَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ هَكَذَا

[AI] Narrated by Al-Hasan, the Prophet ﷺ said, "The imam (leader) is responsible and the muezzin (caller to prayer) is trustworthy. Allah guided the imams and forgave the muezzins, or he said, Allah forgave the imams and guided the muezzins." Ibn Abi Adi doubted this.

عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ذَكَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ فَأَرْشَدَ اللهُ الْأَئِمَّةَ وَغَفَرَ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ أَوْ قَالَ غَفَرَ اللهُ للْأَئِمَّةِ وَأَرْشَدَ الْمُؤَذِّنِينَ شَكَّ ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ

"الإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ، والمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤتَمَنٌ، اللَّهم ارْشِدْ الأئمة، واعْفُ عن المُؤَذِّنين" .

"الإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ والمؤذنُ مُؤتمن اللهم أرشد الأئمة واغفر للمؤذنين".

"الإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ والمؤذِّنُ مؤْتَمَنٌ، فأرْشدَ الله الإِمَامَ، وَعَفَا عن المؤذِنِين".

"الإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ والمؤذِّنُ أَمين، أرشدَ الله الأئِمةَ، وأعان المؤذنين" .

"الإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ، والمؤَذِّنُ مُؤَتمنٌ، اللَهُم. اغْفِر للمُؤذِّنِين واهْدِ الأئمة" .

"الإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ، والمؤذِّنُ مؤتَمَنٌ اللهم أرشِدِ الأئمةَ واغَفِر للمُؤَذنين، قَالُوا: يا رسول الله! تركْتَنا نَتنَافَسُ في الأذان بَعْدك، قال: إِنه يكون في آخر الزمان سِفْلَتُهم مؤذنيهم".

الأئِمَّةُ ضُمَنَاءُ وَالْمُؤَذِّنُونَ أُمَنَاءُ فَأَرْشَدَ الله الأَئِمَّةَ وَغَفَرَ لِلمُؤَذِّنِينَ" .

"المؤَذِّنُونَ أُمَناءُ، والأئِمَةُ ضُمَنَاءُ، أرشد الله الأئِمَة، وغَفَرَ للمؤذنين" .

"عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ : الإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ وَالْمُؤْذِنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ اللَّهُمَّ أَرْشِدِ الأَئِمَّةَ وَاغْفِرْ لْلمُؤَذِّنِينَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ الله! لَقَدْ تَرَكْتَنَا نَتَنَافَسُ فيِ الأَذَانِ بَعْدُ، قَالَ: إِنَّ بَعْدَكُمْ زَمَانًا سَفَلَتُهُمْ مُؤَذِّنُوهُمْ".
