Avoiding large civil upheaval as long as the leaders establish prayers regardless of the wrong they commit

from the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “Rulers will be appointed over you; you will recognize ˹some of what they do˺ and you will disapprove ˹of some of it˺. Whoever dislikes ˹the wrongdoing˺ is absolved, and whoever rejects it is safe; but whoever is pleased and follows ˹it is not˺.” They said: “O Messenger of Allah, should we not fight them?” He said: “No, as long as they pray.”  meaning: whoever hates (it) in his heart and denounces it in his heart.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «إِنَّهُ يُسْتَعْمَلُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ فَتَعْرِفُونَ وَتُنْكِرُونَ، فَمَنْ كَرِهَ فَقَدْ بَرِئَ، وَمَنْ أَنْكَرَ فَقَدْ سَلِمَ، وَلَكِنْ مَنْ رَضِيَ وَتَابَعَ»، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلاَ نُقَاتِلُهُمْ؟ قَالَ: «لاَ، مَا صَلَّوْا»، أَىْ مَنْ كَرِهَ بِقَلْبِهِ وَأَنْكَرَ بِقَلْبِهِ

"Indeed there shall come upon you A'immah whom you like (what they do) and some (of what they do) you dislike. So whoever rejects, then he is innocent, and whoever loathes, then he is safe. But whoever is pleased and follows." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah! Shall we fight them?" He said: "No, as long as they offer Salat."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَئِمَّةٌ تَعْرِفُونَ وَتُنْكِرُونَ فَمَنْ أَنْكَرَ فَقَدْ بَرِئَ وَمَنْ كَرِهَ فَقَدْ سَلِمَ وَلَكِنْ مَنْ رَضِيَ وَتَابَعَ فَقِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَفَلاَ نُقَاتِلُهُمْ قَالَ لاَ مَا صَلَّوْا

In the near future there will be Amirs and you will like their good deeds and dislike their bad deeds. One who sees through their bad deeds (and tries to prevent their repetition by his band or through his speech), is absolved from blame, but one who hates their bad deeds (in the heart of his heart, being unable to prevent their recurrence by his hand or his tongue), is (also) fafe ( so far as God's wrath is concerned). But one who approves of their bad deeds and imitates them is spiritually ruined. People asked (the Holy Prophet): Shouldn't we fight against them? He replied: No, as long as they say their prayers. قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّهُ سَتَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ تَعْرِفُونَ وَتُنْكِرُونَ فَمَنْ أَنْكَرَ فَقَدْ بَرِئَ وَمَنْ كَرِهَ فَقَدْ سَلِمَ وَلَكِنْ مَنْ رَضِيَ وَتَابَعَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَفَلَا نُقَاتِلُهُمْ؟ قَالَ لَا مَا صَلَّوْا لَكُمُ الْخَمْسَ

[Machine] Narrated Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, she said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There will be leaders after me whom you will recognize and reject. Whoever denies them, Sulaiman (one of the narrators) said Hisham (another narrator) said in his heart, he will be free (from blame). And whoever dislikes them, he will be safe (from harm). However, whoever accepts and follows them, it was said, 'O Messenger of Allah, should we not fight against them?' He said, 'No, as long as they establish the prayer.'"

عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ سَيَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَئِمَّةٌ تَعْرِفُونَ مِنْهُمْ وَتُنْكِرُونَ فَمَنْ أَنْكَرَ قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ قَالَ هِشَامٌ بِقَلْبِهِ فَقَدْ بَرِئَ وَمَنْ كَرِهَ فَقَدْ سَلِمَ لَكِنْ مَنْ رَضِيَ وَتَابَعَ فَقِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَوَلَا نُقَاتِلُهُمْ؟ فَقَالَ لَا مَا صَلَّوْا

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, there will be leaders among you whom you will recognize and reject. Whoever rejects them with his tongue, he has acquitted himself (of blame). But whoever hates them in his heart, he has submitted (and accepted). However, whoever is pleased and follows them... It was said, 'O Messenger of Allah, should we not kill them?' He said, 'No, as long as they pray.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَئِمَّةٌ تَعْرِفُونَ مِنْهُمْ وَتُنْكِرُونَ فَمَنْ أَنْكَرَ قَالَ هِشَامٌ بِلِسَانِهِ فَقَدْ بَرِئَ وَمَنْ كَرِهَ بِقَلْبِهِ فَقَدْ سَلِمَ لَكِنْ مَنْ رَضِيَ وَتَابَعَ قَالَ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَفَلَا نَقْتُلُهُمْ؟ قَالَ لَا مَا صَلُّوا

"إِنَّهَ سَيَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمِ أَئِمَّةٌ تعرفُونَ وَتُذْكِرُونَ فمنْ أنكر فَقَد برئَ وَمَنْ كَرهَ فقدْ سَلِمَ ولَكِنْ مَنْ رَضى وتابَعَ، قيَل يا رسولَ اللَّه: أفَلا نُقَاتِلُهُمَ، قال لا مَا صَلَّوا ".
