[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah has overlooked for my ummah what they think about themselves, as long as they do not speak it or act upon it."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تَجَاوَزَ اللهُ لِأُمَّتِي مَا حَدَّثَتْ بِهِ أَنْفُسَهَا مَا لَمْ تَكَلَّمْ بِهِ أَوْ تَعْمَلْ بِهِ

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: It is permissible for my Ummah (community) to have thoughts that come to their minds or speak about things that they have not verbalized or acted upon.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ تُجُوِّزَ لِأُمَّتِي عَمَّا وَسْوَسَتْ بِهِ أَنْفُسَهَا أَوْ حَدَّثَتْ بِهِ أَنْفُسَهَا مَا لَمْ تَكَلَّمْ بِهِ أَوْ تَعْمَلْ بِهِ
[Machine] Narrated by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , "Allah forgives my ummah for the thoughts and whispers that they have not spoken or acted upon. This is in reference to the saying of Abu Awana, and according to the narration of Hisham, who said that the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Indeed, Allah, may He be glorified, forgives my ummah.'"
