[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said and pointed with his hand towards the east, saying, "Verily, the tribulations are from here. Verily, the tribulations are from here. Verily, the tribulations are from here, from the place where the horn of Satan appears."  

أحمد:٥١٠٩ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ نَحْوَ الْمَشْرِقِ فَقَالَ هَا إِنَّ الْفِتَنَ مِنْ هَاهُنَا إِنَّ الْفِتَنَ مِنْ هَاهُنَا إِنَّ الْفِتَنَ مِنْ هَاهُنَا مِنْ حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ

I saw Messenger of Allah ﷺ pointing towards the east saying, "Lo! Afflictions will verily emerge hence; afflictions will verily emerge hence where the (side of the head of) Satan appears."

muslim:2905c – Ḥarmalah b. Yaḥyá > Ibn Wahb > Yūnus > Ibn Shihāb > Sālim b. ʿAbdullāh from his father

The turmoil would appear from this side; verily, the turmoil would appear from this side; verily, the turmoil would appear from this side - the side where appear the horns of Satan.  

مسلم:٢٩٠٥c – وَحَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ وَهُوَ مُسْتَقْبِلُ الْمَشْرِقِ هَا إِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ هَا هُنَا هَا إِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ هَا هُنَا هَا إِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ هَا هُنَا مِنْ حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying while pointing his hands towards the east: The turmoil would appear from this side; verily, the turmoil would appear from this side (he repeated it thrice) where appear the horns of Satan.  

مسلم:٢٩٠٥e – وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَنْظَلَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَالِمًا يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُشِيرُ بِيَدِهِ نَحْوَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَيَقُولُ هَا إِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ هَا هُنَا هَا إِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ هَا هُنَا ثَلاَثًا حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنَا الشَّيْطَانِ  

malik:54-29 – Mālik > ʿAbdullāh b. Dīnār > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

Malik related to me from Abdullah ibn Dinar that Abdullah ibn Umar said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pointing at the east and saying, 'The cause of dissension is here. The cause of dissension is here, from where the helpers of shaytan arise.' "  

مالك:٥٤-٢٩ – حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ
