اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم وهُو يُشِيرُ نَحْوَ الْعِرَاقِ الْفِتْنَةُ هَاهُنا الْفِتْنَةُ مِنْ حَيْثُ يُطْلِعُ الشَّيْطَانُ قرنيه

ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ بِأَنَّ أَوَّلَ حَادِثَةٍ فِي هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ تَكُونُ مِنَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ

ibnhibban:6648 – ʿUmar b. Saʿīd b. Sinān > Aḥmad b. Abū Bakr > Mālik > ʿAbdullāh b. Dīnār > Ibn ʿUmar

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying while pointing his hands towards the east: The turmoil would appear from this side; verily, the turmoil would appear from this side (he repeated it thrice) where appear the horns of Satan. (Using translation from Muslim 2905e)

ابن حبّان:٦٦٤٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُشِيرُ نَحْوَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَيَقُولُ «هَا إِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ هَاهُنَا إِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ هَاهُنَا مِنْ حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ»
