[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform Tahajjud prayer with five prostrations, without sitting in between them, until he sat after the fifth prostration and then said the Salam.  

أحمد:٢٤٣٥٧حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُوتِرُ بِخَمْسِ سَجَدَاتٍ لَا يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَهُنَّ حَتَّى يَجْلِسَ فِي الْخَامِسَةِ ثُمَّ يُسَلِّمَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray thirteen units of prayer at night and he would perform the Witr prayer with five prostrations. He would not sit between them (the prostrations) until he sat in the final one, then he would give the salutation.  

أحمد:٢٥٢٨٦حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً وَكَانَ يُوتِرُ بِخَمْسِ سَجَدَاتٍ لَا يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَهُنَّ حَتَّى يَجْلِسَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ ثُمَّ يُسَلِّمَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform Tahiyyatul-Wudu (a prayer after performing ablution) consisting of five units (rak'ahs). He would not sit down except in the fifth unit, and he would only give the salaam (conclude the prayer) in the fifth unit.  

الحاكم:١١٤٥حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ أَنْبَأَ أَبُو عُمَرَ أَنْبَأَ هَمَّامٌ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ حَدَّثَتْهُ

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ» يُوتِرُ بِخَمْسِ رَكَعَاتٍ وَلَا يَجْلِسُ إِلَّا فِي الْخَامِسَةِ وَلَا يُسَلِّمُ إِلَّا فِي الْخَامِسَةِ  

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» على شرطهما

ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ ثَانٍ يُصَرِّحُ بِإِبَاحَةِ اسْتِعْمَالِ مَا وَصَفْنَاهُ

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُوتِرُ بِخَمْسٍ لَا يَجْلِسُ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنَ الْخَمْسِ إِلَّا فِي آخِرِهِنَّ يَجْلِسُ ثُمَّ يُسَلِّمُ»
