That he heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "The person who severs the bond of kinship will not enter Paradise."

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ لاَ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَاطِعٌ

I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "A tale-bearer will not enter Jannah."

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «لاَ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَتَّاتٌ۔»

The Prophet ﷺ said, "The boy is for the owner of the bed."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْوَلَدُ لِصَاحِبِ الْفِرَاشِ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "The boy is for (the owner of) the bed and the stone is for the person who commits illegal sexual intercourse.'

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: The tale-bearer shall not enter Paradise.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لاَ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ نَمَّامٌ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Fasting while traveling is not counted as an act of righteousness."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ»

The Prophet ﷺ said, "The boy is for (the owner of) the bed and the stone is for the person who commits illegal sexual intercourse.' (Using translation from Bukhārī 6818)

«الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ»

ʿThe child belongs to the (husband or master of the) woman.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 173)

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ»

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ who said, "Paradise has eight gates."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لِلْجَنَّةِ ثَمَانِيَةُ أَبْوَابٍ»

"The murderer will not inherit." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2109)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْخَالُ وَارِثٌ»

Hammam told us: Farqad told us from Murrah at-Tayyib from Abu Bakr as-Siddeeq that the Prophet ﷺ said: ʿNo one who mistreats his slaves will enter Paradise.”

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ سَيِّئُ الْمَلَكَةِ

ʿThe child belongs to the (husband or master of the) woman.ʿ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ divided the spoils as two shares for the horse and one share for the man." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1554)

قَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الْأَنْفَالِ لِلْفَرَسِ سَهْمَيْنِ وَلِلرَّجُلِ سَهْمًا

It has been narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ allowed two shares from the spoils to the horseman and one share to the footman. (Using translation from Muslim 1762a)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَسَمَ فِي النَّفَلِ لِلْفَرَسِ سَهْمَيْنِ وَلِلرَّجُلِ سَهْمًا

[AI] It means: "The Prophet ﷺ assigned two arrows for the horse and one arrow for the man."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ جَعَلَ لِلْفَرَسِ سَهْمَيْنِ وَلِلرَّجُلِ سَهْمًا

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَسَمَ لِلْفَرَسِ سَهْمَيْنِ وَلِلرَّجُلِ سَهْمًا

[AI] "Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ gave two arrows to the horse and one arrow to the man."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ جَعَلَ لِلْفَرَسِ سَهْمَيْنِ وَلِلرَّجُلِ سَهْمًا

“No one who is addicted to wine will enter Paradise.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3376)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مَنَّانٌ وَلَا مُدْمِنُ خَمْرٍ

Prophet ﷺ sa saying: There is no fara' and 'atirah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2831)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا فَرَعَةَ وَلَا عَتِيرَةَ

the Prophet said: "The child is for the bed (i.e., belongs to the husband) and the fornicator gets nothing!' (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2006)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ

the Prophet said: "The child is for the bed (i.e., belongs to the husband) and the fornicator gets nothing!' (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2006)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ

"I heard Abu Um Amah Al-Bahili say: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah say: "The child is for the bed and the fornicator gets nothing." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2007)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْوَلَدُ لِصَاحِبِ الْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ

[AI] "I heard Abu Al-Qasim ﷺ saying: 'The child belongs to the one who owns the bed, and the stone belongs to the adulterer.'"

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْوَلَدُ لِرَبِّ الْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "The boy is for (the owner of) the bed and the stone is for the person who commits illegal sexual intercourse.' (Using translation from Bukhārī 6818)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ

‘The evil eye is real.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3507)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا وِصَالَ يَعْنِي فِي الصَّوْمِ

[AI] From the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ who said, "Modesty is entirely good."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْحَيَاءُ خَيْرٌ كُلُّهُ

[AI] About the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "There is no odd number of Witr prayers in one night."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا وِتْرَانِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ

Qays ibn Talq said: Talq ibn Ali visited us on a certain day during Ramadan. He remained with us till evening and broke fast with us. He then stood up and led us in the witr prayer. He then went to his mosque and led them in prayer. When the witr remained, he put forward another man and said: Lead your companions in the witr prayer, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: There are no two witrs during one night. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1439)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا وِتْرَانِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ

[AI] Aisha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , informed her that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned its meaning.

أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَخْبَرَتْهَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] And he said, "It is yours, O slave of Ibn Zam'ah, the child for a bed, and the stone for the adulteress."

وَقَالَ فَهُوَ لَكَ يَا عَبْدُ بْنَ زَمْعَةَ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "The boy is for (the owner of) the bed and the stone is for the person who commits illegal sexual intercourse.' (Using translation from Bukhārī 6818)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Safiyya bint Abi Ubayd from A'isha and Hafsa, the wives of the Prophet ﷺ that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is not halal for a woman in mourning for someone who has died, if she trusts in Allah and the Last Day, to abstain from adornment for more than three nights, except for a husband."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَحِلُّ لاِمْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ

Yahya said, "Malik said from Jafar ibn Muhammad from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pronounced judgement on the basis of an oath with one witness."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَضَى بِالْيَمِينِ مَعَ الشَّاهِدِ

Yahya said, "Malik related to us from Ibn Shihab from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The pledge given as security is not forfeited.' " Malik said, "The explanation of that according to what we think - and Allah knows best - is that a man gives a pledge to somebody in security for something. The pledge is superior to that for which he pawned it. The pledger says to the pawn-broker, 'I will bring you your due, after such-and-such a time. If not, the pledge is yours for what it was pawned for.' " Malik said, "This transaction is not good and it is not halal. This is what was forbidden. If the owner brings what he pledged it for after the period, it is his. I think that the time condition is void."

أنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قالَ: «لا يَغْلَقُ الرَّهْنُ» -[٧٢٩]- قالَ مالِكٌ: «وتَفْسِيرُ ذَلِكَ فِيما نُرى، واللَّهُ أعْلَمُ، أنْ يَرْهَنَ الرَّجُلُ الرَّهْنَ عِنْدَ الرَّجُلِ بِالشَّيْءِ، وفِي الرَّهْنِ فَضْلٌ عَمّا رُهِنَ بِهِ، فَيَقُولُ الرّاهِنُ لِلْمُرْتَهِنِ: إنْ جِئْتُكَ بِحَقِّكَ، إلى أجَلٍ يُسَمِّيهِ لَهُ، وإلّا فالرَّهْنُ لَكَ بِما رُهِنَ فِيهِ» قالَ: «فَهَذا لا يَصْلُحُ ولا يَحِلُّ، وهَذا الَّذِي نُهِيَ عَنْهُ، وإنْ جاءَ صاحِبُهُ بِالَّذِي رَهَنَ بِهِ بَعْدَ الأجَلِ، فَهُوَ لَهُ، وأُرى هَذا الشَّرْطَ مُنْفَسِخًا»

Yahya related to me from Malik from Amr ibn Yahya al-Mazini from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no injury nor return of injury."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ ضَرَرَ وَلاَ ضِرَارَ

The Prophet ﷺ said: Returning home is like going on an expedition. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2487)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «قَفْلَةٌ كَغَزْوَةَ»

The Prophet ﷺ said: Anyone who cuts off relationship from his nearest relatives will not enter Paradise. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1696)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ قَاطَعٌ»

[AI] Regarding the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "There is no intimacy while fasting."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا وِصَالَ فِي الصِّيَامِ»

The Prophet ﷺ as saying: Lailat al-qadr is the twenty-seventh night (of Ramadan) (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1386)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ لَيْلَةُ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ»

The Prophet ﷺ said, "The boy is for (the owner of) the bed and the stone is for the person who commits illegal sexual intercourse.' (Using translation from Bukhārī 6818)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "To the horse there are two arrows, and to the man, one arrow."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لِلْفَرَسِ سَهْمَانِ وَلِلرَّجُلِ سَهْمٌ»

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ assigned two arrows for a horse and one arrow for a man."

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ جَعَلَ لِلْفَرَسِ سَهْمَيْنِ وَلِلرَّجُلِ سَهْمًا»

Prophet ﷺ sa saying: There is no fara' and 'atirah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2831)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا فَرَعَ وَلَا عَتِيرَةَ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no riba (usury/interest), except in nasi'ah (delayed payment)."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا رِبًا إِلَّا فِي النَّسِيئَةِ»

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "There is no usury except in the undeserved increase."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا رِبًا إِلَّا فِي النَّسِيئَةِ»

[AI] The translation of the passage from Arabic to English is:

The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no usury except in evil."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا رِبًا إِلَّا فِي النَّسِيئَةِ»

[AI] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "There is no riba (usury or interest) except in doing something harmful (to others)."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا رِبًا إِلَّا فِي النَّسِيئَةِ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no usury except in bad debt."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا رِبًا إِلَّا فِي النَّسِيئَةِ»
