"The Prophet came out and met me when I was sexually impure, so I kept away from him. Then I had a bath and came to him. He said: 'What is the matter with you?' I said: 'I was sexually impure.' The Messenger of Allah said: 'The Muslim does not become impure.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 535)   

أحمد:٢٣٤١٦حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ

خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَلَقِيَهُ حُذَيْفَةُ فَحَادَ عَنْهُ فَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَقَالَ مَا لَكَ؟ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ كُنْتُ جُنُبًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ لَا يَنْجُسُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ happened to meet him and he was (sexually) defiled, and he slipped away and took a bath and then came and said: I was (sexually) defiled. Upon this he (the Holy Prophet) remarked: A Muslim is never defiled.
