nasai:268 – Isḥāq b. Manṣūr > Yaḥyá > Misʿar > Wāṣil > Abū Wāʾil > Ḥudhayfah

"And he came close to me and reached out his hand. I said: 'I am Junub.' He said: 'The Muslim is not made impure (Najis).'"  

النسائي:٢٦٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي وَاصِلٌ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ

muslim:372 – Abū Bakr b. Abū Shaybah And ʾAbū Kurayb > Wakīʿ > Misʿar > Wāṣil > Abū Wāʾil > Ḥudhayfah

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ happened to meet him and he was (sexually) defiled, and he slipped away and took a bath and then came and said: I was (sexually) defiled. Upon this he (the Holy Prophet) remarked: A Muslim is never defiled.  

مسلم:٣٧٢ – وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ عَنْ وَاصِلٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَقِيَهُ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ فَحَادَ عَنْهُ فَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَقَالَ كُنْتُ جُنُبًا قَالَ إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ لاَ يَنْجُسُ  

abudawud:230 – Musaddad > Yaḥyá > Misʿar > Wāṣil > Abū Wāʾil > Ḥudhayfah

The prophet ﷺ visited him and inclined towards him (for shaking hand). He said : I am sexually defiled. The prophet ﷺ replied : A muslim is not defiled.  

أبو داود:٢٣٠ – حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ عَنْ وَاصِلٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لَقِيَهُ فَأَهْوَى إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي جُنُبٌ فَقَالَ إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ لاَ يَنْجُسُ  

ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ بِأَنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ إِذَا كَانَ جُنُبًا أَوْ غَيْرَ جُنُبٍ لَا يَجُوزُ أَنْ يُطْلَقَ عَلَيْهِ اسْمُ النَّجَاسَةِ وَإِنْ وَقَعَ فِي الْمَاءِ الْقَلِيلِ لَمْ يُنَجِّسْهُ
