“There is never any obscenity in a thing, but it mars it, and there is never any modesty in a thing, but it adorns it.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4185)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا كَانَ الْفُحْشُ فِي شَيْءٍ قَطُّ إِلَّا شَانَهُ وَلَا كَانَ الْحَيَاءُ فِي شَيْءٍ قَطُّ إِلَّا زَانَهُ
"Al-Fuhsh is not present in anything but it mars it, and Al-Haya' is not present in anything but it beautifies it."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا كَانَ الْفُحْشُ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلاَّ شَانَهُ وَمَا كَانَ الْحَيَاءُ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلاَّ زَانَهُ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ
“There is never any obscenity in a thing, but it mars it, and there is never any modesty in a thing, but it adorns it.”
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَا كَانَ الْفُحْشُ فِي شَىْءٍ قَطُّ إِلاَّ شَانَهُ وَلاَ كَانَ الْحَيَاءُ فِي شَىْءٍ قَطُّ إِلاَّ زَانَهُ
[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ who said: "Gentleness does not beautify anything, except that it spoils it. And vulgarity is not present in anything, except that it tarnishes it."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا كَانَ الرِّفْقُ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلَّا زَانَهُ وَلَا كَانَ الْفُحْشُ فِي شَيْءٍ قَطُّ إِلَّا شَانَهُ»
"مَا كَانَ الْفُحْشُ فِي شَيْءٍ قَطُّ إلَّا شَانَه، ولا (*) كَانَ الْحَيَاءُ فِي شَيْءٍ قَطُّ إِلَّا زَانَهُ".
