Anas said, "There is no one that people loved to see more than the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. But when they saw him, they did not stand up for him since they knew that he disliked that."  

الأدب المفرد:٩٤٦حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ

عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ مَا كَانَ شَخْصٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِمْ رُؤْيَةً مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَكَانُوا إِذَا رَأَوْهُ لَمْ يَقُومُوا إِلَيْهِ لِمَا يَعْلَمُونَ مِنْ كَرَاهِيَتِهِ لِذَلِكَ

tirmidhi:2754ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman > ʿAffān > Ḥammād b. Salamah > Ḥumayd > Anas

"There was no person more beloved to them than the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." [He said:] "And they would not stand when they saw him because they knew that he disliked that."  

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Ṣaḥīḥ-Gharīb in this particular context.
