Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Wealth does not mean having a lot of property, rather wealth is in being content."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَيْسَ الْغِنَى عَنْ كَثْرَةِ الْعَرَضِ وَلَكِنَّ الْغِنَى غِنَى النَّفْسِ
Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Wealth does not mean having a lot of property, rather wealth is in being content."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَيْسَ الْغِنَى عَنْ كَثْرَةِ الْعَرَضِ وَلَكِنَّ الْغِنَى غِنَى النَّفْسِ
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Wealth is not in having many possessions, but rather (true) wealth is feeling sufficiency in the soul."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَيْسَ الْغِنَى عَنْ كَثْرَةِ الْعَرَضِ وَلَكِنَّ الْغِنَى غِنَى النَّفْسِ
Richness does not lie in the abundance of (worldly) goods but richness is the richness of the soul (heart, self).
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ الْغِنَى عَنْ كَثْرَةِ الْعَرَضِ وَلَكِنَّ الْغِنَى غِنَى النَّفْسِ
"Richness is not having many possessions, but richness is being content with oneself."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ الْغِنَى عَنْ كَثْرَةِ الْعَرَضِ وَلَكِنِ الْغِنَى غِنَى النَّفْسِ
“Richness is not an abundance of worldly goods, rather richness is contentment with one’s lot.”
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ الْغِنَى عَنْ كَثْرَةِ الْعَرَضِ وَلَكِنَّ الْغِنَى غِنَى النَّفْسِ
