“Richness is not an abundance of worldly goods, rather richness is contentment with one’s lot.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4137)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ الْغِنَى عَنْ كَثْرَةِ الْعَرَضِ وَلَكِنَّ الْغِنَى غِنَى النَّفْسِ
“Richness is not an abundance of worldly goods, rather richness is contentment with one’s lot.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4137)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ الْغِنَى عَنْ كَثْرَةِ الْعَرَضِ وَلَكِنَّ الْغِنَى غِنَى النَّفْسِ
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Wealth is not in having many possessions, but rather (true) wealth is feeling sufficiency in the soul."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَيْسَ الْغِنَى عَنْ كَثْرَةِ الْعَرَضِ وَلَكِنَّ الْغِنَى غِنَى النَّفْسِ
Richness does not lie in the abundance of (worldly) goods but richness is the richness of the soul (heart, self).
