Ibn 'Umar heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "Do not leave a fire burning in your houses. It is an enemy."

الأدب المفرد:١٢٢٦ – حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا نَافِعُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ الْهَادِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ لاَ تَتْرُكُوا النَّارَ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ فَإِنَّهَا عَدُوٌّ
