عَائِشَةُ طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لِحِلِّهِ وَلِحُرْمِهِ
[Machine] Aisha said to Ibn Abi Al-Sa'ib, a storyteller from the people of Al-Madinah: I will mention three stories and you follow along with me, or I will make you suffer through it. He responded, "No, rather I will follow you, O mother of the believers." She then said, "Avoid rhymed supplication, as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions did not engage in it." Isma'il once recounted a story, so she said, "I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions, and they did not do that." Narrate to the people one story every Friday, or two if you refuse, or three if you still refuse. This way, people will not become bored with this book, and I will guarantee that you come to a group while they are discussing one of their stories, and then you interrupt their conversation. Instead, leave them be, and when they approach you and insist on it, then speak to them.

[Machine] Aisha used to pray with the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , two rak'ahs (units of prayer) before the Fajr prayer as much as he would recite the opening chapter of the Quran.
[Machine] Aisha sent to us from the family of Abu Bakr a list of sheep at night. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took hold of it and I cut, or I took hold of it and cut. The one I was talking to asked, "Is there anything higher than a lamp?" She replied, "If we had a lamp, we would use it. But if it were to come to the family of Muhammad ﷺ, they would have enough food to bake bread and cook."
[Machine] Aisha sent to us the family of Abu Bakr with a basket of sheep at night, so I held it and the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , cut it. Or she said, "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , held it and I cut it." She said, "You tell the one you are speaking with about this, that it is without a lamp." He said, "Aisha said, 'Indeed, it comes to the family of Muhammad every month that they do not bake bread or cook food in a pot.'" Humaid said, "So I mentioned it to Safwan ibn Muhriz, and he said, 'No, rather every two months.'"

[Machine] "A woman entered upon Aisha, and she saw a raised spear. She asked, 'What is this spear?' Aisha replied, 'We kill the reptiles with it.' Then, Aisha narrated about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that when Ibrahim was thrown into the fire, all the animals turned away from him except for the lizard. It blew on the fire to cool it down for him."

[Machine] Aisha, O Messenger of Allah, what do you think if the earth is replaced with another earth, and the heavens as well, and they all appear before Allah, the One, the Irresistible? Where will the people be on that day? The people will be on the bridge (Siraat) on that day.

I find the smell of gum (maghafir) from you. He then entered upon one of them; she said that to him. Thereupon he said : No, I drank honey at (the house of) Zainab daughter of jahsh, and I will not do it again. Then the following verse came down :’’O Prophet !why holdest thou to be forbidden that which Allah has made lawful to thee ? ‘’Thou seekest. . . If you two turn in repentance to Allah ‘’ refers to Hafsah and A’ishah , and the verse: ‘’When the Prophet disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his consorts’’ refers to the statements of the Prophet ﷺ disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his consorts’’ refers to the statement of the Prophet ﷺ :No, I drank honey. She said, 'O Mother of the Believers, indeed some of your sons have sent their greetings to you, and the people have increased in their criticism of Uthman. What do you say about him?' She said, 'May Allah curse whoever curses him. May Allah curse whoever curses him. I do not consider it except that she said it three times. I have indeed seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was leaning, so he took him to Uthman. And I used to wipe the sweat from the forehead of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and indeed the revelation would descend upon him. And he married his two daughters, one after the other. And indeed he used to say, 'Write, O Uthman.' She said, 'Allah would not send a servant of His Prophets down to such a rank unless he was a noble servant upon whom honor is upon.'"

Verily, there is no human being except that his heart is between Two Fingers of the Fingers of Allah, so whomsoever He wills He makes steadfast, and whomever He wills He causes to deviate.’” (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3522)

He (Abu Salama) said: "He struck the chest of Sulaymān and said: 'I bear witness that Umm Salama, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , used to testify that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform ablution from what the fire touches."

[Machine] "O my son, why is your head disheveled?" He replied, "My mother, Ammar's wife, is menstruating." She said, "Oh my son, where is menstruation located? Wasn't the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , coming to one of us while she was menstruating and placing his head on her lap to recite the Quran while she was menstruating? Then one of us would carry his turban and place it in the mosque while she was menstruating. Oh my son, where is menstruation located?"

[Machine] She said, "I entered upon Aisha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , and I asked her about the meat of the sacrificial animals. She said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to prohibit it, but then he gave permission for it. Ali ibn Abi Talib returned from a journey and Fatimah brought him meat from her sacrifices. He said, 'Did not the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibit it?' She said, 'Indeed, he gave permission for it.' So Ali went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked him about that. [Machine] Some of the wives of the Prophet (PBUH), and the only one I know of is Hafsah, were asked about the recitation of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH). She said, "You cannot do it." Messenger of Allah, what about him who would be made to accompany this army willy nilly? Thereupon he said: He would be made to sink along with them but he would be raised on the Day of Resurrection on the basis of his intention. Abu Ja'far said. ' This plain, ground means the plain ground of Medina. (Using translation from Muslim 2882a)

[Machine] Aisha entered upon the Prophet while I was trembling and crying. He asked, "Why are you crying, O Aisha?" She replied, "I said that people would return with two types of rituals, then I said they would return with only one type of ritual." He asked, "Why is that?" She said, "I have started my menses." He said, "That is something that Allah has ordained for the daughters of Adam. Do what the pilgrims do except that you do not circumambulate the Kaaba." She mentioned that they had performed Umrah before going to Makkah, then they traveled to Mina, then they traveled to Arafah and stood with the people. Then she stopped with a group and threw pebbles at the Jamrah (stone pillar) on the day of sacrifice, then threw pebbles at the Jamrah along with the people during those days. She mentioned that they continued traveling until they arrived at Al-Hazwa (a place where women menstruating after Tawaf al-Ifadah stay until their menses ended) and said, "By Allah, I did not reach this place except for my sake," or she said, "for her sake," referring to herself. Then the Prophet sent Abdur-Rahman and said, "Carry her behind you until you take her out of the sanctuary." She said, "By Allah, he did not take her out except to Ji'ranah or Tan'im," referring to places outside the Haram. He said to her, "Perform 'Umrah from here." She said, "So we set off and the nearest place was Tan'im. So I performed 'Umrah from there, then I came to the House and performed Tawaf around it and between Safa and Marwa, then I came to the Prophet and he left." Ibn Abi Mulaykah said, "Aisha used to do that afterwards."

[Machine] I entered upon Aisha and said to her, "Should you not inform me about the illness of the Messenger of Allah?" She said, "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah was heavily burdened." So she narrated the hadith and said, "Then the Messenger of Allah motioned towards him that he should not delay." Muawiyah said, "He can delay." He said to both of them, "Let me sit next to him." So they made him sit next to him. She said, "Then Abu Bakr began to pray while the Messenger of Allah was standing in prayer, and the people were praying following the prayer of Abu Bakr and the Prophet was sitting."

[Machine] Aisha used to fast a lot, so it was said to her, "What motivates you to be so committed to religion?" And she said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) say, 'No servant fasts and is determined to complete it except that he is aided by Allah.' So, I seek that aid."

Umm Talhah responded, 'Yes, that is true.' Aisha then said, 'They should not pray unless they are wearing a covering, as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me while I had a girl with me, and he cast a glance at her. He then said, 'Separate yourself between this girl and the girl who is with Umm Salamah, for I do not see them except when they are menstruating or I do not see them unless they have menstruated.'"

In one of the alleys, there were barrels of liquor brought from Sham. He took the key from me and broke all the barrels in that alley in his presence. Then, he gave me back the key and commanded his companions who were with him to accompany me and assist me. He ordered me to go through all the markets and break every barrel of liquor I find in them. So, I did as instructed and did not leave any barrel intact in the markets."
