[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The lost property of a Muslim is the fire, so do not approach it." And he said: "If you find lost property, then announce it and do not hide it or conceal it. If you know the owner, then return it to him, if not, then it is for Allah to give it to whom He wills."  

الطبراني:٢١٢١ – حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ ثنا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ثنا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْجَذْمِيُّ عَنِ الْجَارُودِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «ضَالَّةُ الْمُسْلِمِ حَرْقُ النَّارِ فَلَا تَقْرَبَنَّهَا» وَقَالَ «الضَّالَّةُ وَاللُّقَطَةُ تَجِدُهَا فَانْشُدْهَا وَلَا تَكْتُمْ وَلَا تُغَيِّبْ فَإِنْ عَرَفْتَ فَأَدِّهَا وَإِلَّا فَمَالُ اللهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ»

[Machine] A man said, "O Messenger of Allah, should I try to find the lost item?" He replied, "Search for it and do not hide it or conceal it. If you find its owner, return it to him. Otherwise, the property of Allah is given to whomever He wills."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The lost property of a Muslim is the burning of the fire, the lost property of a Muslim is the burning of the fire, the lost property of a Muslim is the burning of the fire; do not approach it." A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what if we find it?" He said, "Announce it and do not hide it or conceal it, and if its owner comes, then return it to him; otherwise, it belongs to Allah, and He gives it to whoever He wills."  

الدارمي:٢٦٤٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ الْجَذْمِيِّ عَنْ الْجَارُودِ قَالَ
