[Machine] "We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during a journey, and during noon there were few supplies. So we discussed what would be sufficient for us during noon. We said it would be good to reach them at a cliff and enjoy their appearance. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The Muslim's straying is to approach the fire three times, so do not go near it.'"  

الطبراني:٢١٢٢a – ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَزْهَرَ الْأُبُلِّيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الْعَتَكِيُّ ثنا هِلَالُ بْنُ حَقٍّ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَخِيهِ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ الْجَذْمِيِّ عَنِ الْجَارُودِ قَالَ

كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ وَفِي الظُّهْرِ قِلَّةٌ فَتَذَاكَرْنَا مَا يَكْفِينَا مِنَ الظُّهْرِ قُلْنَا ذَوْدٌ نَأْتِي عَلَيْهِمْ بِجُرُفٍ فَنَسْتَمْتِعُ بِظُهُورِهِمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «ضَالَّةُ الْمُسْلِمِ حَرْقُ النَّارِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ فَلَا تَقْرَبَنَّهَا»

We said, "Let's go to them on the mountain and enjoy their company." السيوطي:١٦٧-٤b –

"عَنِ الجَارُودِ، قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِى بَعْضِ أَسْفَارِهِ، وَفِى الظَّهْرِ (*) قِلَّة، فَتَذَاكَرَ الْقَوْم بَيْنَهُم، فَقَالَ: قَدْ عَلِمْتُ يَارسُولَ اللهِ! مَا يَكْفِينَا مِنَ الظَّهْرِ، قَالَ: فَمَا يَكْفِينَا؟ قُلتُ: ذَوْدٌ (* *) نأتِى عَلَيْهِنَّ فِى جُرْفٍ (* * *) فَلنْسْتَمْتِعْ بِظُهورِهِنَّ، فَقَالَ: لاَ. ضَالَّةُ الْمُسْلِم حَرْقُ النَّارِ فَلاَ تقربنها (* * * *) ".
