When anyone wipes himself with pebbles (after answering the call of nature) he should do this odd number of times.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُوتِرْ

Abdullah ibn AbuBakr reported that he heard Urwah say: I entered upon Marwan ibn al-Hakam. We mentioned things that render the ablution void. Marwan said: Does it become void by touching the penis? Urwah replied: This I do not know. Marwan said: Busrah daughter of Safwan reported to me that she heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: He who touches his penis should perform ablution.

أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ مَسَّ ذَكَرَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ

"When any one of you urinates, let him not hold his penis in his right hand."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا بَالَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلاَ يَأْخُذْ ذَكَرَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ

"When any one of you a wants to return (to have intercourse again), let him perform Wudu'."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَعُودَ تَوَضَّأَ

"If any one of you touches his private part with his hand, let him perform Wudu'."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَفْضَى أَحَدُكُمْ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى فَرْجِهِ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'If anyone of you touches his penis, let him perform ablution.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا مَسَّ أَحَدُكُمْ ذَكَرَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'If anyone of you touches his penis, then he has to perform ablution.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا مَسَّ أَحَدُكُمْ ذَكَرَهُ فَعَلَيْهِ الْوُضُوءُ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'If anyone of you has intercourse with his wife, then he wants to do it again, let him perform ablution.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمْ أَهْلَهُ ثُمَّ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَعُودَ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you perform ablution, one of you should insist on rinsing the mouth and when you take in the water through the nose, you should blow it out."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْتَنْثِرْ وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيُوتِرْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When one of you performs ablution, let him rinse his nose, and when he performs istijmar (cleansing with stones after using the bathroom), let him do it an odd number of times."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْتَنْثِرْ وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيُوتِرْ

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُوتِرْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If one of you applies kohl, let him apply it to both eyes."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اكْتَحَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَكْتَحِلْ وِتْرًا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you applies kohl, let them apply it in odd numbers. And when one of you performs istinja, let them perform it in odd numbers."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اكْتَحَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَكْتَحِلْ وِتْرًا وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيَسْتَجْمِرْ وِتْرًا

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيُوتِرْ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever forgets a prayer, let him perform it when he remembers it.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 696)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ نَسِيَ صَلَاةً فَلْيُصَلِّهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا قَضَى أَحَدُكُمْ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "When one of you shrouds his brother, then let him shroud him nicely, if he is able to."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا كَفَّنَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ فَلْيُحْسِنْ كَفَنَهُ إِنْ اسْتَطَاعَ

[AI] He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'When one of you performs Istinja (cleansing after using the toilet), he should wipe himself three times.'"

أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا تَغَوَّطَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَمْسَحْ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you wants to perform istijmar (cleansing after using the restroom), let him do it three times."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْتَجْمِرْ ثَلَاثًا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you prays, let him cover himself for his prayer, even if it is with an arrow."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْتَتِرْ لِصَلَاتِهِ وَلَوْ بِسَهْمٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If one of you wants something from his wife, let him go to her, even if she is busy at the oven."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ امْرَأَتِهِ حَاجَةً فَلْيَأْتِهَا وَلَوْ كَانَتْ عَلَى تَنُّورٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When one of you performs 'Istijmar', then let him perform 'Witr'. And when one of you applies 'kohl', then let him apply 'Witr'."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْتَجْمِرْ وِتْرًا وَإِذَا اكْتَحَلَ فَلْيَكْتَحِلْ وِتْرًا

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When one of you applies kohl (eyeliner), let them apply it in odd numbers, and when one of you performs istijmar (cleaning oneself after using the bathroom), let them perform it in odd numbers."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا اكْتَحَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَكْتَحِلْ وِتْرًا وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيَسْتَجْمِرْ وِتْرًا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If one of you reaches puberty, let him shave his pubic hair three times." He said, "Trim it once, for that will suffice for him."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا بَالَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَنْتُرْ ذَكَرَهُ ثَلَاثًا قَالَ زَمْعَةُ مَرَّةً فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ يُجْزِئُ عَنْهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you wakes up, let him rinse his mouth three times."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا بَالَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَنْتُرْ ذَكَرَهُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Whoever touches his sexual organ then let him perform ablution." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 481)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ مَسَّ فَرْجَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ

"When the Messenger of Allah wanted to sleep and he was sexually impure, he would perform ablution as for prayer." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 584)

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَنَامَ تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ مَسَّ ذَكَرَهُ فَلَا يُصَلِّ حَتَّى يَتَوَضَّأَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "None of you should neglect his prayer, even if it is with an arrow."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَيَسْتُرْ أَحَدُكُمْ صَلَاتَهُ وَلَوْ بِسَهْمٍ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you wakes up in the morning and has not performed the Witr prayer, let them perform it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَصْبَحَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَلَمْ يُوتِرْ فَلْيُوتِرْ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you asks, let him ask abundantly, for indeed he is asking his Lord."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا سَأَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُكْثِرْ فَإِنَّهُ يَسْأَلُ رَبَّهُ»

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever touches his private part, let him perform Wudu'.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 444)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ مَسَّ فَرْجَهُ فَلْيُعِدِ الْوُضُوءَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever touches his private parts should perform ablution (wudu) for prayer."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ مَسَّ ذَكَرَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ»

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'If anyone of you has intercourse with his wife, then he wants to do it again, let him perform ablution.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 587)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا مَسَّ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَرْأَةَ فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَعُودَ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "When any one of you wakes up from sleep, let him not touch his private parts with his right hand, nor clean himself with his right hand."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا بَالَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلَا يَمْسَحْ ذَكَرَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ وَلَا يَسْتَنْجِي بِيَمِينِهِ»

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever forgets a prayer, let him perform it when he remembers it.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 696)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ نَسِيَ صَلَاةً فَلْيُصَلِّهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا»

When any one of you fights with his brother he should avoid striking at the face. (Using translation from Muslim 2612a)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا قَاتَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَجْتَنِبِ الْوَجْهَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If one of you washes himself and then sees anything coming out from his private parts, he should perform ablution."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا اغْتَسَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ ثُمَّ ظَهَرَ مِنْ ذَكَرِهِ شَيْءٌ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ»

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Whoever touches his sexual organ then let him perform ablution." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 481)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ مَسَّ فَرْجَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When one of you buys food, do not sell it until you receive it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا اشْتَرَى أَحَدُكُمْ طَعَامًا فَلَا يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَقْبِضَهُ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you stands up for prayer, he should not close his eyes."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَلَا يَغْمِضْ عَيْنَيْهِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever touches his private parts, let him perform ablution."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ مَسَّ ذَكَرَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ if a person in a state of janabah can sleep? He said, "He should perform ablution for prayer."

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ الْجُنُبِ يَنَامُ؟ قَالَ «يَتَوَضَّأُ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ»

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever forgets a prayer, let him perform it when he remembers it.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 696)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ نَسِيَ صَلَاةً فَلْيُصَلِّهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا»
