"The Prophet ﷺ used to deliver the Khutbah standing, then he would sit down, then he would stand up and recite some verses and remember Allah (SWT). And his Khutbah was moderate in length, and his prayer was moderate in length."  

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ وَيَقْرَأُ آيَاتٍ وَيَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ وَكَانَتْ خُطْبَتُهُ قَصْدًا وَصَلاَتُهُ قَصْدًا  

The prayer offered by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was moderate, and the sermon given by him was (also) moderate. He would recite a few verses from the Qur'an and exhort the people.  

كَانَتْ صَلاَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَصْدًا وَخُطْبَتُهُ قَصْدًا يَقْرَأُ آيَاتٍ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ وَيُذَكِّرُ النَّاسَ  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to deliver sermons while standing and sit between the sermons, reciting verses from the Quran. His sermon was concise and his prayer was concise.  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا وَيَجْلِسُ بَيْنَ الْخُطْبَتَيْنِ وَيَتْلُو آيَاتٍ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ وَكَانَتْ خُطْبَتُهُ قَصْدًا وَصَلَاتُهُ قَصْدًا  

[Machine] I heard Jabir ibn Samurah saying, "The Prophet ﷺ used to sit between the two sermons on the day of Friday and deliver the sermon while standing. His prayer was brief, and his sermon was brief as well. He would recite verses from the Quran on the pulpit."  

سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ يَقُولُ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَ الْخُطْبَتَيْنِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَيَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا وَكَانَتْ صَلَاتُهُ قَصْدًا وَخُطْبَتُهُ قَصْدًا وَيَقْرَأُ آيَاتٍ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ
