Is it true what has reached me about you? He said: What has reached you about me? He said: It has reached me that you have committed (adultery) with the slave-girl of so and so? He said: Yes. He (the narrator) said: He testified four times. He (the Holy Prophet) then made pronouncement about him and he was stoned (to death).  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِمَاعِزِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَحَقٌّ مَا بَلَغَنِي عَنْكَ قَالَ وَمَا بَلَغَكَ عَنِّي قَالَ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّكَ وَقَعْتَ بِجَارِيَةِ آلِ فُلاَنٍ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَشَهِدَ أَرْبَعَ شَهَادَاتٍ ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِهِ فَرُجِمَ  

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked Ma’iz b. Malik : Is what I have heard about you is true? He said: What have you heard about me? He said: I have heard that you have had intercourse with a girl belonging to the family of so and so. He said: Yes. He then testified four times. He (The prophet) then gave order regarding him and he was stoned to death.  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِمَاعِزِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَحَقٌّ مَا بَلَغَنِي عَنْكَ قَالَ وَمَا بَلَغَكَ عَنِّي قَالَ بَلَغَنِي عَنْكَ أَنَّكَ وَقَعْتَ عَلَى جَارِيَةِ بَنِي فُلاَنٍ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَشَهِدَ أَرْبَعَ شَهَادَاتٍ فَأَمَرَ بِهِ فَرُجِمَ  

That the Prophet ﷺ said to Ma'iz bin Malik: "Is what has reached me about you true?" He said: "What has reached you about me?" He said: "It has reached me that you had relations with the slave-maid of the family of so-and-so" He said: "Yes." So he testified four times, and he gave the order that he be stoned.  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِمَاعِزِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَحَقٌّ مَا بَلَغَنِي عَنْكَ قَالَ وَمَا بَلَغَكَ عَنِّي قَالَ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّكَ وَقَعْتَ عَلَى جَارِيَةِ آلِ فُلاَنٍ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَشَهِدَ أَرْبَعَ شَهَادَاتٍ فَأَمَرَ بِهِ فَرُجِمَ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ met Ma'iz ibn Malik and said, "What have you heard about yourself?" Ma'iz asked, "And what have you heard about me?" The Prophet replied, "I have heard that you committed illegal sexual intercourse with a person from Fulan's tribe?" Ma'iz admitted, so the Prophet ordered him to be stoned to death.  

لَقِيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَاعِزَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ فَقَالَ أَحَقٌّ مَا بَلَغَنِي عَنْكَ؟ قَالَ وَمَا بَلَغَكَ عَنِّي؟ قَالَ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّكَ فَجَرْتَبِأَمَةِ آلِ فُلانٍ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَرَدَّهُ حَتَّى شَهِدَ أَرْبَعَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِرَجْمِهِ
