8. Chapter of Khā (Male) (10/11)
[Machine] He said while he was in the land of the Romans, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Whoever says in the morning: 'There is no deity but Allah alone, He has no partner. His is the dominion, and His is the praise, and He is over all things capable' ten times, Allah will write for him ten good deeds, erase for him ten bad deeds, and raise him by ten degrees. He will have earned a reward equivalent to freeing ten slaves. Moreover, Allah will protect him from the devil. Whoever says it in the evening will have the same reward."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Whoever encounters the enemy and remains patient until they are killed or victorious, will not be tested in their grave."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Indeed, the harshest punishment for people on the Day of Resurrection is the harshest of them in this world." So he said, "Go and leave their path."
[Machine] I saw Khalid bin Al Hawari, a man from Abyssinia (Ethiopia), from the companions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , who came to his family. When he finished, his death approached him, and he said: "Wash me with two washings, one for ritual impurity and one for death."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever receives a good deed from his brother without asking for it or seeking any benefit from it, let him accept it and not reject it, for it is only a provision that Allah has sent to him."
[Machine] He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the eastern part of Ta'if, standing on a bow or a stick, when he came to seek their support. He said, "So I heard him reciting 'By the sky and the night visitor' until he finished it." He said, "I had heard it during the era of ignorance while I was a polytheist, and then I heard it in Islam. So they said, 'What did you hear from this man?' So I recited it to them. So whoever from the Quraysh was with them said, 'We know our companion best. If we knew that what he is saying is true, we would have followed him.'"
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, Allah ﷻ has granted you, upon your death, one-third of your wealth as an increase in your good deeds."
[Machine] Al-Qa'abi narrated: Sahl ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Yahya narrated to us, Husayn al-Tustari narrated to us, Amr ibn Hisham Abu Umayyah al-Harrani narrated to us, Uthman ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sahl ibn Muhammad al-Madani, from Khalid ibn Abdullah ibn Harmalah al-Mudlij, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood in Uhud and a man asked him, "Do you have any information about women's inheritance and the camels of Banu Mudlij?" And among the people was a man from Banu Mudlij, and it was recognized on his face. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best of people are those who defend their people as long as they do not commit sins."

[Machine] From his father: "Regarding the naming of those who witnessed with Ali among the companions of the Messenger of Allah, Khalid ibn Abi Dujanah."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever sows a seed and a bird or a person benefits from it, it will be a charity for him."
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us and said: Allah the Exalted has given you an extra prayer which is better for you then the red camels (i.e. high breed camels). This is the witr which Allah has appointed for you between the night prayer and the daybreak. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1418)
[Machine] And it is said that it was revealed about Kharitah ibn Zaid, the father of Zuheir, the brother of Balharith ibn Al-Khazraj.
[Machine] I heard a noise, so I turned and found myself face to face with him. He said, "The bravest among the people, the middle of them, is Abdullah Omar, the commander of the faithful, strong in his body, strong in the command of Allah. Uthman ibn Affan, the commander of the faithful, is chaste and self-restrained, who forgives many sins. Two nights have passed, and four remain. People have differed, and they have no system. O people, come to your leader, listen to him, and obey him, for he is the Messenger of Allah and the son of Rawaha." Then he said, "What did Zaid ibn Kharja, meaning his father, do?" Then he said, "I took Sararis unjustly, then my voice softened."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ descended upon him in Ji'ranah and shaved his head, and he stayed with him. Khalid stayed with him until the evening. Then the Prophet ﷺ performed the Umrah and descended with him to the valley until they reached a place called Ashqab. He said, "O Muhrish, the water of this place flows to the Kurr, and what is left of the valley is for you, O Muhrish." Then the Prophet ﷺ examined the Kurr with his hand and water gushed forth from it, so he drank. Then the Prophet ﷺ performed the Umrah and sent Khalid to a man from his companions called Muhrish ibn Abdullah. And the Prophet ﷺ was fearful that day of entering Makkah, so he took a route that was known to him, until he completed his rituals and they returned to Khalid and Muhrish removed his hair.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "One who pays the Zakat, hosts the guests, and donates in times of need is free from greed."

[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ said: "There are three things, whoever possesses them will be protected from the greed of his soul: giving charity, hosting guests, and giving when asked."
[Machine] About Khalid, Saad appointed him as governor of Kufa.

‘Whoever lies upon me intentionally, then let him take his seat in the Fire’. (Using translation from Muslim 3)
[Machine] One of them said to the other, "Did you not receive the message? Did you not hear that the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, 'Whoever kills himself will not be punished in his grave'?" He replied, "Yes."

[Machine] My father told me, and he was one of the companions of the tree, and Abu Muslim Al-Khashshy narrated to us, as well as Ali ibn Al-Madinii narrated to us, and Marwan ibn Muawiyyah narrated to us, and Muhammad ibn Al-Abbas Al-Muaddib narrated to us, as well as Sa'id ibn Sulayman Al-Wasity narrated to us, and Abbadi ibn Al-Awam narrated to us, all of them narrated from Abu Malik Al-Ashja'i, who narrated from Nafi' ibn Khalid Al-Khuzai, who narrated from his father, and he was one of the companions of the tree. He said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in prayer one day. He performed the prayer and then sat down, prolonging his sitting. When he finished and stood up, we said, 'O Messenger of Allah, you prolonged your sitting in the prayer.' He said, 'Indeed, it was a prayer of desire and awe. I asked Allah three things in it, and He granted me two while preventing me from one. [Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to pray a light and complete prayer when people were around him. One day, he sat for a long time until some of us motioned to each other to be quiet because the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , was receiving a revelation. When he finished, some of the people said, "O Messenger of Allah, you sat for a long time until some of us motioned to each other that a revelation was being sent down to you." He said, "No, but it was a prayer of desire and fear. I asked Allah in it three times and He gave me two of them and prevented me from one. I asked Him not to punish you with a punishment that He had inflicted upon those before you, and I asked Him not to allow an enemy to conquer you that would rule over you. He granted me both of those. And I asked Him not to cause divisions among your ranks and make them fight against each other, and He prevented me from that." I said to him, "Did your father hear this from the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ ?" He said, "Yes, I heard him say it and he counted them with his fingers, these ten fingers."

[Machine] After the death of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr sent commanders to Syria and appointed Khalid ibn Sa'eed over a group of soldiers.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ sent me to Yemen and said, "Whoever you pass by among the Arabs and you hear the Adhan (call to prayer) from them, do not confront them. And whoever you do not hear the Adhan from, invite them to Islam. If they do not respond, then fight against them."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ came with his daughter from the migration from Abyssinia. She came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wearing a yellow dress that impressed the girl. She understood some Abyssinian words, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke to her in Abyssinian and said, "Sana sana" (meaning "how are you?"). He then said to her, "Ablee wa akhleeqi, thumma ablee wa akhleeqi" (meaning "live and behave, then live and behave"). She said, "I lived and I swear by Allah I behaved." Then she lived and swore by Allah she behaved. Then she leaned against the back of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and placed her hand on the spot of the Prophet's seal. Her father intervened and the Prophet ﷺ said, "Leave her."

[Machine] He came to the Prophet ﷺ with a ring in his hand. The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Khalid, what is this ring?" He said, "It is a ring that I have taken." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Throw it to me." So I threw it to him, and it turned out to be a ring made of colored iron with silver on it. The Prophet ﷺ said, "What is engraved on it?" I said, "Muhammad, Messenger of Allah." So the Prophet ﷺ took it and wore it, and it was the ring that was in his hand.
