[Machine] "That Abdullah used to say the Takbeer (Allahu Akbar) after completing the recitation (of the Quran) and then he would say the Takbeer (Allahu Akbar) after finishing the Qunoot (supplication)."
[Machine] "To become the shadow of everything like it." He asked him about the time of 'Asr? He said, "Pray it and the sun is pale and distinct." He asked him about the time of Maghrib? He said, "When the sun sets."
[Machine] Abdullah ibn Masud said, "I warm myself with it in winter and cool myself with it in summer."
[Machine] Ibn Mas'ood used to warm up with his wife during the winter while he was in a state of ritual impurity, having already taken a bath. And he used to cool down with her during the summer in the same manner.
[Machine] That a cousin of his had divorced his wife for ten days, then he went out and four months had passed when he returned to his household. He met a man who reminded him of his oath, so he went to Ibn Mas'ood and asked him. Ibn Mas'ood swore to him by Allah that he did not know, then he sent him to his wife and she swore to him by Allah that she did not know. Then he commanded him to propose to her for himself.
[Machine] About a man who made a vow but did not mention anything? He said, "He will free a slave."
[Machine] "Abdullah was brought a slave girl who stole and did not become pregnant, so he did not cut her."
The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone says when swearing an oath: "If Allah wills," he makes an exception. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3261)
[Machine] Abdullah bought from his wife or from a woman he had a child with, and he set a condition for her, and she set a condition for him regarding her service. So Umar said, "It is not from your property what has in it someone else's praise."
[Machine] Abdullah raised both his hands above his chest when he started the prayer and said, "Like this."
[Machine] That Abdullah stood up in the two units of prayer and did not sit down.
[Machine] Indeed, my uncle married his cousin, and she gave birth to me, and he wants to secretly take them away. He said, "That is not for him."
[Machine] He heard Abdullah say while he was in a state of bowing, "There is no power or strength except with Allah."
[Machine] Abdullah said to a man, "If you ask your Lord for goodness, then do not ask while you have a stone in your hand."
[Machine] Abdullah said, "They started the day looking refreshed while fasting."
[Machine] "To combine Umrah with her Hajj, she asked Abdullah, who said, 'I can only find this possible during the months of Hajj.' Allah says, 'The months [of Hajj] are well-known.' "
أَنْ تَضُمَّ مَعَ حَجَّتِهَا عُمْرَةً فَسَأَلَتْ عَبْدَ اللهِ فَقَالَ مَا أَجِدُ هَذِهِ إِلَّا أَشْهُرُ الْحَجِّ قَالَ اللهُ ﷻ {أَشْهُرٍ مَعْلُومَاتٍ}
[Machine] His statement refers to the washing of the feet in his saying, "and your feet up to the ankles."
رَجَعَ قَوْلُهُ إِلَى غَسْلِ الْقَدَمَيْنِ فِي قَوْلِهِ {وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ}
[Machine] "A man either violates the purification ritual by passing water between his fingers, or the fire will burn him."
[Machine] "A man will either violate (contaminate) himself between his fingers with purity or the fire will violate (consume) him."
[Machine] He said, "Keep the five fingers free, for Allah does not fill them with fire."
[Machine] So that I can "cut it while he is laughing" where do you separate it from you, for it is only a part of you.
[Machine] "He said, 'I do not care whether I touch it with my hand or my knee.'"
[Machine] Some of them said, "I don't care if I touch my hand or my nose." And another said, "My ear." And another said, "My thigh." And another said, "My knee."
[Machine] Ibn Mas'ud prayed while there was feces and blood on his stomach from a slaughtered sheep and he did not perform ablution.
[Machine] Ibn Mas'ood slaughtered a sheep, and its blood and dung splattered on him. The prayer was then established, so he prayed without performing ablution.
[Machine] "In the dead animal, its hide becomes permissible for use as an offering."
[Machine] "Because performing ablution from inauspicious words is more beloved to me than performing ablution from good food."
[Machine] "I prefer to purify myself from the evil word than to purify myself from the good bite."
[Machine] "I do ablution from a foul word, which I love more than to do ablution from a good meal."
[Machine] That Ali, Ibn Mas'ood, and Ash-Sha'bi said about the man who sleeps while sitting, "he is not in a state of ablution."
[Machine] The man performs ablution from impurity and touching by his hand, and from kissing when he kisses his wife, and he used to say regarding this verse "{Or you have touched women}" - this is a metaphor.
[Machine] Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said, "The Qibla (direction of prayer) is determined by physical landmarks and can also be used for performing ablution."
[Machine] That a man touches his wife's body with desire, then he needs to perform ablution.
[Machine] "Indeed, Satan comes to one of you during his prayer and seizes a strand of hair from his backside, then makes him think that he has passed wind, so he does not leave until he hears a sound or finds a smell."
[Machine] "Indeed, Satan tries to distract a person during prayer in order to ruin their prayer. When the person becomes weary, Satan blows on their back to show them that he has caused them to forget. If the person notices anything from that, they should not leave until they hear a sound or find a scent."
[Machine] "He washed the tips of his fingers, rinsed his mouth, and then prayed."
[Machine] We were brought a plate from the house of Ibn Mas'ood with bread and meat, so we ate. And with us was Ibn Mas'ood, so he rinsed his mouth and washed his fingers at sunset.
[Machine] "We were brought a plate, so we ate and Abdullah was with us. Then Abdullah rinsed his mouth and washed his fingers. Then we set off for the Maghrib prayer."
[Machine] "Indeed, ablution (wudu) is from what has exited and not from what has entered, and fasting is from what has entered and not from what has exited."
[Machine] Abdullah used to wear his socks during the Fajr prayer and wouldn't take them off until he went to bed.
[Machine] He used to wipe on the two socks and two slippers.
[Machine] "Abdullah designated three days for the traveler and one day for the resident to perform the ritual of wiping over the socks."
[Machine] I traveled with Abdullah ibn Mas'ud three times to Medina, and he did not remove his shoes.
