[Machine] "I have not seen anyone among the people after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who is darker than Mu'awiyah."

«مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا مِنَ النَّاسِ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَسْوَدَ مِنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ»

[Machine] I heard Ibn Umar say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ clothed me in a qubtiyyah garment and dressed Usamah bin Zaid in a siyarah. He looked at me and saw that my garment was trailing on the ground, so he came and grabbed my shoulder and said, "O Ibn Umar, everything that touches the ground from the garment is in the fire." So, I saw Ibn Umar roll up his garment halfway up his leg.

سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ كَسَانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قُبْطِيَّةً وَكَسَى أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ حُلَّةً سِيَرَاءَ فَنَظَرَ فَرَآنِي أَسْبَلْتُ فَجَاءَ فَأَخَذَ بِمَنْكِبِي فَقَالَ «يَا ابْنَ عُمَرَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ يَمَسُّ الْأَرْضَ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ فِي النَّارِ» فَرَأَيْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَأْتَزِرُ إِلَى نِصْفِ السَّاقِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, the most beloved houses to Allah are those in which an orphan is honored."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ أَحَبَّ الْبُيُوتِ إِلَى اللهِ بَيْتٌ فِيهِ يَتِيمٌ مُكْرَمٌ»

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has commanded us to kill dogs, except for hunting dogs or guard dogs."

«أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِقَتْلِ الْكِلَابِ إِلَّا كَلْبَ صَيْدٍ أَوْ كَلْبَ مَاشِيَةٍ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to spread his mattress and bed towards the direction of the Qibla and then lean against it when he would observe 'itikaf.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «كَانَ إِذَا اعْتَكَفَ طُرِحَ لَهُ فِرَاشُهُ وَسَرِيرُهُ إِلَى أُسْطُوَانِ التَّوْبَةِ مِمَّا يَلِي الْقِبْلَةَ ثُمَّ يَسْتَنِدُ إِلَيْهَا»

[Machine] "On the authority of the Prophet, ﷺ , he said, "Indeed, Allah has chosen individuals from His creation whom He grants them life in good health, and when He causes them to die, He admits them into His Paradise. Those individuals are the ones who experience trials coming upon them like the darkest part of the night, and they are in a state of well-being during it."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ لِلَّهِ ضَنَائِنَ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ يُحْيِيهِمْ فِي عَافِيَةٍ وَإِذَا تَوَفَّاهُمْ إِلَى جَنَّتِهِ أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ يَمُرُّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْفِتَنُ كَقِطَعِ اللَّيْلِ الْمُظْلِمِ وَهُمْ فِيهَا مِنْهُ فِي عَافِيَةٍ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a small military expedition before reaching Najd with Abdullah. We captured many camels as spoils of war, and our share came to twelve camels. The Messenger of Allah provided us with one camel after another.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «بَعَثَ سَرِيَّةً قِبَلَ نَجْدٍ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ فِيهَا فَغَنِمْنَا إِبِلًا كَثِيرَةً فَكَانَتْ سُهْمَانُنَا قَدْ بَلَغَتِ اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ بَعِيرًا وَنَفَلَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ بَعِيرًا بَعِيرًا»

[Machine] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ dismounting when his camel stumbled."

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُهِلُّ حِينَ اسْتَوَتْ بِهِ رَاحِلَتُهُ»

[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ offered funeral prayer for a woman who died during childbirth, along with her baby."

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى زَانِيَةٍ مَاتَتْ فِي نِفَاسِهَا وَوَلَدُهَا»

[Machine] The divorced woman is not permissible for her first husband until she marries another man and he interacts with her and she tastes from his marriage.

«الْمُطَلَّقَةُ ثَلَاثًا لَا تَحِلُّ لِزَوْجِهَا الْأَوَّلِ حَتَّى تَنْكِحَ زَوْجًا غَيْرَهُ وَيُخَالِطَهَا وَتَذُوقَ مِنْ عُسَيْلَتِهِ»

Al-Muttalib bin 'Abdullah bin Hantab (narrated) that 'Abdullah bin 'Umar performed Wudu', washing each part of the body three times, and he attributed that to the Prophet ﷺ. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 81)

أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ «كَانَ يَتَوَضَّأُ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا يُسْنِدُ ذَلِكَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ»

[Machine] "The Sunnah of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, this refers to the Sunnah of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ ."

«سُنَّةُ اللهِ وَسُنَّةُ رَسُولِهِ يُرِيدُ هَذِهِ سُنَّةُ اللهِ وَسُنَّةُ رَسُولِهِ ﷺ»

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever says, 'Subhan Allah' (glory be to Allah), 'Alhamdulillah' (praise be to Allah), 'La ilaha illallah' (there is no god but Allah), and 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah is the greatest), it will be written for him as ten good deeds for each letter. And whoever supports a person in a false dispute, he will continue to be in the displeasure of Allah until he stops. And whoever intercedes beyond the limits set by Allah, he has transgressed in the matter of Allah. And whoever accuses a believing man or woman falsely, Allah will enclose him in the garment of disgrace on the Day of Judgment until he comes out of what he said, and he is not innocent."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَالَ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ كُتِبَتْ لَهُ بِكُلِّ حَرْفٍ عَشْرُ حَسَنَاتٍ وَمَنْ أَعَانَ فِي خُصُومَةِ بَاطِلٍ لَمْ يَزَلْ فِي سَخَطِ اللهِ حَتَّى يَنْزِعَ وَمَنْ حَالَتْ شَفَاعَتُهُ دُونَ حَدٍّ مِنْ حُدُودِ اللهِ فَقَدْ ضَادَّ اللهَ فِي أَمْرِهِ وَمَنْ بَهَتَ مُؤْمِنًا أَوْ مُؤْمِنَةً حَبَسَهُ اللهُ فِي رَدْغَةِ الْخَبَالِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ مِمَّا قَالَ وَلَيْسَ بِخَارِجٍ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "All flies are in the fire except the honeybee, and he used to prohibit killing them and burning food." Sufyan said, "Burning food is similar to being in the land of the enemy."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «الذُّبَابُ كُلُّهُ فِي النَّارِ إِلَّا النَّحْلَةَ وَكَانَ يَنْهَى عَنْ قَتْلِهِنَّ وَعَنْ إِحْرَاقِ الطَّعَامِ» قَالَ سُفْيَانُ «يُشْبِهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ إِحْرَاقُ الطَّعَامِ فِي أَرْضِ الْعَدُوِّ»

[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated that Abdul Aziz ibn Abi Hazim reported from his father, who reported from Ubayd ibn Umayr, who reported from Ibn Umar that he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while on the pulpit saying, 'The heavens and the earth are held in His hand.' Then he folded his hand, alternately opening and closing it, and said, 'I am the Almighty, where are the tyrants? Where are the arrogant ones?'" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ leaned to his right and left until I saw the pulpit shaking from downstairs and I thought, 'It will fall with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .

ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ «يَأْخُذُ الدَّيَّانُ سَمَاوَاتِهِ وَأَرَضِيهِ بِيَدِهِ» وَقَبَضَ يَدَهُ وَجَعَلَ يَقْبِضُهُمَا وَيَبْسُطُهُمَا ثُمَّ يَقُولُ «أَنَا الْجَبَّارُ أَيْنَ الْجَبَّارُونَ؟ أَيْنَ الْمُتَكَبِّرُونَ؟» وَتَمَيَّلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ حَتَّى نَظَرْتُ إِلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَتَحَرَّكُ مِنْ أَسْفَلِ شَيْءٍ مِنْهُ حَتَّى إِنِّي لَأَقُولُ أَسَاقِطٌ هُوَ بِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ, "Indeed, wiping the Black Stone and the Yemeni corner removes sins completely."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ «إِنَّ مَسْحَ الْحَجَرِ الْأَسْوَدِ وَالرُّكْنِ الْيَمَانِيِّ يَحُطَّانِ الْخَطَايَا حَطًّا»

[Machine] I said to Ibn Umar, "I see you pressing against these two corners." He replied, "If I do so, then I have heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Indeed, wiping them removes sins.'"

قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ أَرَاكَ تُزَاحِمُ عَلَى هَذَيْنِ الرُّكْنَيْنِ قَالَ إِنْ أَفْعَلُ فَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ مَسْحَهُمَا يَحُطَّانِ الْخَطَايَا»

[Machine] And I heard him saying, "Whoever circumambulates this house for a week, counting every step, will have a good deed written for him with each step, and a bad deed will be forgiven for him, and he will be raised in status, and it will be as if he has emancipated a slave."

وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «مَنْ طَافَ بِهَذَا الْبَيْتِ أُسْبُوعًا يُحْصِيهِ كُتِبَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ حَسَنَةٌ وَكُفِّرَتْ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَةٌ وَرُفِعَتْ لَهُ دَرَجَةٌ وَكَانَ عَدْلَ عِتْقِ رَقَبَةٍ»

[Machine] "And I heard him saying, 'Whoever drinks alcohol, his prayer will not be accepted by Allah for forty mornings. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. But if he returns to it, his prayer will not be accepted for forty mornings. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. But if he returns to it again, his prayer will not be accepted. And it was the right of Allah to make him drink from the river of impurities.' We said, 'O Abu Abdullah, what is the river of impurities?' He said, 'It is the pus of the people of Hell.'"

وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ لَمْ يُقْبَلْ لَهُ أَوْ لَمْ يَتَقَبَّلِ اللهُ لَهَ صَلَاةً أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحًا فَإِنْ تَابَ تَابَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ فَإِنْ عَادَ لَمْ يُقْبَلْ لَهَ صَلَاةٌ أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحًا فَإِنْ تَابَ تَابَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ فَإِنْ عَادَ لَمْ يُقْبَلْ لَهَ صَلَاةٌ وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يَسْقِيَهَ مِنْ نَهَرِ الْخَبَالِ» قُلْنَا يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَا نَهَرُ الْخَبَالِ؟ قَالَ «صَدِيدُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ»

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "There are three types of people whom Allah will not look at on the Day of Resurrection: the one who gives in charity and then reminds (the recipient) of his giving, the one who wears his garment below his ankles out of pride, and the one who persists in drinking alcohol." It was said, "O Abu Abdur Rahman, who is the one who persists in drinking alcohol?" He said, "It is the one who continuously drinks it."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ ثَلَاثَةٌ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللهُ إِلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الْمَنَّانُ عَطَاءَهُ وَالْمُسْبِلُ إِزَارَهُ خُيَلَاءَ وَمُدْمِنُ الْخَمْرِ قِيلَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَا مُدْمِنُ الْخَمْرِ؟ قَالَ «الْمُدَاوَمَةُ عَلَيْهَا»

[Machine] You hear the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed, I joke, but I only speak the truth?" He said, "Yes."

تَسْمَعْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنِّي لَأَمْزَحُ وَلَا أَقُولُ إِلَّا حَقًّا؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ

[Machine] And he said: I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I heard him say, "He does not take a step or lift a foot except that he is rewarded for it."

وَقَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُزَاحِمُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «لَا يَضَعُ قَدِمًا وَلَا يَرْفَعُ إِلَّا كُتِبَ لَهُ بِهَا حَسَنَةٌ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever drinks alcohol, his prayers will not be accepted for forty nights. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. He said it three times. If he repeats the sin, it is upon Allah to make him drink from the river of filth." It was asked, "What is the river of filth?" He said, "It is the pus of the people of Hell."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ لَمْ تُقْبَلْ لَهُ صَلَاةٌ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً فَإِنْ تَابَ تَابَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا فَإِنْ عَادَ كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يَسْقِيَهُ مِنْ نَهَرِ الْخَبَالِ قِيلَ وَمَا نَهَرُ الْخَبَالِ؟ قَالَ «صَدِيدُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ»

[Machine] A man said to Ibn Umar, "O Abu Abdul-Rahman, why do I see you touching the two corners and not leaving them?" Ibn Umar used to do that. He replied, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Indeed, touching them removes sins.'"

قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَالِي أَرَاكَ تَسْتَلِمُ الرُّكْنَيْنِ وَلَا تَتْرُكْهُمَا؟ وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَفْعَلُهُ قَالَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ مَسْحَهُمَا يَحُطُّ الذُّنُوبَ»

[Machine] And I heard him saying, "Whoever circumambulates this house for a week will have a reward for it."

وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «مَنْ طَافَ بِهَذَا الْبَيْتِ أُسْبُوعًا كَانَتْ لَهُ بِهَا رَقَبَةٌ»

[Machine] And I heard him say, "Whoever drinks alcohol in this world, his prayer will not be accepted for forty nights. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he returns [to drinking], his prayer will not be accepted for forty nights. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he returns [again], his prayer will not be accepted for forty nights. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he drinks it for the fourth time, it is the right of Allah to make him drink from the mud of Khabeel." It was asked, "What is the mud of Khabeel?" He said, "The pus of the people of Hell."

وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ تُقْبَلْ لَهُ صَلَاةٌ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً فَإِنْ تَابَ تَابَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ فَإِنْ عَادَ لَمْ تُقْبَلْ لَهُ صَلَاةٌ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً فَإِنْ تَابَ تَابَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ فَإِنْ عَادَ لَمْ تُقْبَلْ لَهُ صَلَاةٌ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً فَإِنْ تَابَ تَابَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ فَإِنْ شَرِبَهَا الرَّابِعَةَ كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يَسْقِيَهُ مِنْ طِينَةِ خَبَالٍ» قِيلَ وَمَا طِينَةُ خَبَالٍ؟ قَالَ «صَدِيدُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The standard unit of measurement is the measurement of the people of Madina, and the weight is the weight of the people of Makkah."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الْمِكْيَالُ مِكْيَالُ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَالْوَزْنُ وَزْنُ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ»

[Machine] On the authority of Jar wine, he said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade drinking jar wine." And Sulaiman ibn Harb said in his narration: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited it."

عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ فَقَالَ «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ» وَقَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ «حَرَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ»

[Machine] "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibit wine?" He said, "Yes."

«أَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ

[Machine] Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibit drinking wine? Yes, Tawus swore to us by Allah that he heard it from Ibn Umar.

«أَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ حَلَفَ لَنَا طَاوُسٌ بِاللهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ مِنَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

[Machine] "That the Prophet ﷺ forbade hunting with dogs and predatory animals."

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْجَرِّ وَالدُّبَّاءِ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited throwing oneself into the fire and the bear. He said, "Yes."

أَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ أَنْ يُنْبَذَ فِي الْجَرِّ وَالدُّبَّاءِ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ

[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited the wine of jarr."

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حَرَّمَ نَبِيذَ الْجَرِّ»

Do you know 'Abdullah b. Umar? He said: Yes. He said: It was he who divorced his wife jn the state of menses and 'Umar went to Allah's Apostle ﷺ and gave him this information. and he commanded him that he should take her back; and he (Abu Tawus) said: I did not hear any addition to this (hadith) from my father. فَإِنَّهُ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ حَائِضًا فَذَهَبَ عُمَرُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرَهُ الْخَبَرَ «فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُرَاجِعَهَا» قَالَ لَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ يَزِيدُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "I made them love him through the use of red clothes. He invites them to Paradise while they invite him to Hellfire."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَوْلَعْتُهُمْ بِعَمَّارٍ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَيَدْعُونَهُ إِلَى النَّارِ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, one of the honorable acts of a believer towards Allah is the cleanliness of his clothing and his contentment with little."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ مِنْ كَرَامَةِ الْمُؤْمِنِ عَلَى اللهِ نَقَاءَ ثَوْبِهِ وَرِضَاهُ بِالْيَسِيرِ»

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah organized a horse race and sent them from Al-Hafya' and its finish line was Thaniyyat Al-Wada'; and he organized a race for horses that had not been made lean, and the course stretched from Ath-Thaniyyah to the Masjid of Banu Zuraiq. أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سَبَّقَ بَيْنَ الْخَيْلِ فَأَرْسَلَهَا مِنَ الْحَيْفَاءِ فَكَانَ أَمَدُهَا إِلَى ثَنِيَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ وَسَابَقَ بَيْنَ الْخَيْلِ الَّتِي لَمْ تَضْمُرْ وَكَانَ أَمَدُهَا مِنَ الثَّنِيَّةِ إِلَى مَسْجِدِ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ

[Machine] I heard Ibn Umar saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade a man from setting out on a journey until his last commitment is to his home, except for menstruating women. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ allowed them to proceed."

سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَنْفِرَ الرَّجُلُ حَتَّى يَكُونَ آخِرُ عَهْدِهِ بِالْبَيْتِ إِلَّا الْحُيَّضَ رَخَّصَ لَهُنَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَنْفِرْنَ»

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ : "The night prayer is performed in pairs, so when you fear dawn, then pray one Rak'ah."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «صَلَاةُ اللَّيْلِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى فَإِذَا خَشِيتَ الصُّبْحَ فَوَاحِدَةً»

The Prophet ﷺ said: It is not lawful for a man to make a donation or give a gift and then take it back, except a father regarding what he gives his child. One who gives a gift and then takes it back is like a dog which eats and vomits when it is full, then returns to its vomit. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3539)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَحِلُّ لِرَجُلٍ يُعْطِي عَطِيَّةً أَوْ يَهَبُ هِبَةً فَيَرْجِعُ فِيهَا إِلَّا الْوَالِدُ فِيمَا يُعْطِي وَلَدَهُ وَمَثَلُ الَّذِي يُعْطِي الْعَطِيَّةَ ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ فِيهَا كَمَثَلِ الْكَلْبِ يَأْكُلُ فَإِذَا شَبِعَ فَأَتَمَّ عَادَ فِي قَيْئِهِ»

Do not buy fruits (on the trees) until their good condition becomes clear. (Using translation from Muslim 1534g)

«لَا تُبَاعُ الثَّمَرَةُ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهَا»

[Machine] "About the Majesty"

عَنِ الْجَلَّالَةِ»

The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone seeks protection in Allah's name, grant him protection; if anyone begs in Allah's name, give him something; if anyone gives you an invitation, accept it; and if anyone does you a kindness, recompense him; but if you have not the means to do so, pray for him until you feel that you have compensated him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1672)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ سَأَلَكُمْ بِاللهِ فَأَعْطُوهُ وَمَنِ اسْتَعَاذَ بِاللهِ فَأَعِيذُوهُ وَمَنْ دَعَاكُمْ فَأَجِيبُوهُ وَمَنْ أَتَى إِلَيْكُمْ مَعْرُوفًا فَكَافِئُوهُ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدُوا مَا تُكَافِئُوهُ فَادْعُوا لَهُ حَتَّى يَرَى أَنْ قَدْ كَافَئْتُمُوهُ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The fly is in the fire and he prohibited killing bees and burning food on enemy lands."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «الذُّبَابُ فِي النَّارِ وَنَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ النَّحْلِ وَأَنْ يُحْرَقَ الطَّعَامُ فِي أَرْضِ الْعَدُوِّ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "All flies are in the fire except for the bee."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «كُلُّ الذُّبَابِ فِي النَّارِ إِلَّا النَّحْلَ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The muezzin has his sins forgiven as long as he extends his voice and every moist and dry thing testifies for him."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الْمُؤَذِّنُ يُغْفَرُ لَهُ مَدَّ صَوْتِهِ وَيَشْهَدُّ لَهُ كُلُّ رَطْبٍ وَيَابِسٍ»

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took hold of my shoulders and said, "Be in this world as a stranger or a traveler passing by."

أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِمَنْكِبِي فَقَالَ «كُنْ فِي الدُّنْيَا كَالْغَرِيبِ أَوْ كَعَابِرِ سَبِيلٍ»

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allow women to go to the Mosques at night." (Using translation from Bukhārī 899)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «ائْذَنُوا لِلنِّسَاءِ بِاللَّيْلِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ» فَقَالَ ابْنُهُ وَاللهِ لَا نَأْذَنُ لَهُنُّ فَيَتَّخِذْنَ ذَلِكَ دَغَلًا فَقَالَ فَعَلَ اللهُ بِكَ وَفَعَلَ بِكَ تَسْمَعُنِي أَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَتَقُولُ أَنْتَ لَا قَالَ لَيْثٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَيَخْرُجْنَ تَفِلَاتٍ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah said, "Do not prevent women from going to the mosques at night." His son said, "By Allah, we will prevent them!" So the Messenger of Allah raised his hand and slapped him, saying, "I'm telling you about the Messenger of Allah and you're saying what you're saying."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَمْنَعُوا النِّسَاءَ الْمَسَاجِدَ بِاللَّيْلِ» فَقَالَ ابْنُهُ وَاللهِ لَنَمْنَعُهُنَّ فَمَدَّ يَدَهُ فَلَطَمَهُ وَقَالَ «أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَتَقُولُ مَا تَقُولُ»

[Machine] "The moon split during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."

«انْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ»
