[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Medina, they were among the worst of people in measuring. So Allah revealed {Woe to those who give less in measure}. So they improved their measuring after that.
[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from the Battle of Khaybar, the revelation of the verse "When the help of Allah and the conquest comes" until the end of the story came to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Ali ibn Abi Talib, O Fatimah, the help of Allah and the conquest has come." "And you see the people entering the religion of Allah in groups, so exalt the praise of your Lord and ask His forgiveness. Indeed, He is ever accepting of repentance." He ﷺ also said that after him, the struggle of jihad will be among the believers. Ali asked, "How do we fight the believers who say 'We believe'?" He ﷺ said, "Based on their actions in religion, if they act upon their own opinions without consulting in religion. Indeed, religion is solely from Allah, His command and His prohibition." Ali asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what if a matter arises for which there is no verse revealed and no sunnah specified by you?" He ﷺ said, "You should hold a consultation among the righteous believers and not decide based on personal opinions. If I had appointed a successor, no one would be more deserving of it than you, for your early acceptance of Islam, your relationship with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , your marriage to his daughter, and your possession of the leader of the women of the believers. And even before that, what I faced in terms of the hardships of Abu Talib, and the revelation of the Quran, I am eager to care for his children."
[Machine] "Ali, O Messenger of Allah, you told me on the day of Uhud, when I was prevented from testifying, that whoever is martyred, their martyrdom is from you. He said, "How will your patience be when these are smeared with this?" and he pointed with his hand to his beard and head. So Ali said, "Indeed, I have clarified what I have clarified. That is not from the places of patience, but it is from the places of good news and honor."
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "The sacrifice has been prescribed for me and not for you, and I have been commanded to perform the Eid prayer and you have not been commanded."
[Machine] Abu Barzah al-Aslami used to judge between the Jews in their disputes that they brought to him. Then some Muslims sought his judgment, so Allah revealed, "Have you not seen those who claim to believe in what was revealed to you and what was revealed before you? They wish to turn to the taghut [false judge] for judgment, while they were commanded to disbelieve in it" until His saying, "But if you should strive for Allah, He is your best for striving" (Surah An-Nisa, verse 60).
كَانَ أَبُو بَرْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيُّ كَاهِنًا يَقْضِي بَيْنَ الْيَهُودِ فِيمَا يَتَنَافَرُونَ إِلَيْهِ فتنافرَ إِلَيْهِ نَاسٌ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ {أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّهُمْ آمَنُوا بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يَتَحاكَمُوا إِلَى الطاغوتِ وَقَدْ أُمِرُوا أَنْ يَكْفُرُوا بِهِ} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ {إِنْ أَرَدْنَا إِلَّا إِحْسَانًا}
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever drinks in vessels of gold, they are only dragging the fire of Hell in their stomach."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Indeed, Allah created one hundred units of mercy. He distributed one unit among His creation and kept ninety-nine units for the Day of Resurrection."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The one walking barefoot is more deserving to occupy the front of the road than the one wearing shoes."
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , when he returned from the Battle of Tabuk and performed Umrah, when he descended from the Thaniyyah of 'Usfan, he commanded his companions to rely on the rock until he returned to them. He went and stayed at the grave of his mother and supplicated to his Lord for a long time. Then, he started crying and his weeping intensified. These people also started crying due to his weeping and they said, "Messenger of Allah, why are you crying in this place, unless you have announced something to your Ummah that they cannot bear?" When these people cried, he rose and returned to them and said, "What makes you cry?" They said, "O Messenger of Allah, we cried because of your weeping. We thought that you had announced something to your Ummah that they cannot bear." He said, "No, and some of them have occurred, but I went to my mother's grave and supplicated to Allah to allow me to seek intercession for her on the Day of Resurrection. Allah refused to grant me permission, so I cried. Then, Gabriel, ﷺ , came to me and said, "Ibrahim's seeking forgiveness for his father was only because of a promise he made to him. But when it became clear to him that he was an enemy to Allah, he disowned him." So you have disowned your mother as Ibrahim disowned his father. I sought forgiveness for her and pleaded to my Lord to save my Ummah from four things, and He granted me two and refused to grant me the other two. I pleaded that my Ummah should not be afflicted by famine and drought, but He granted me only removal of famine and drought. I pleaded that my Ummah should not be defeated by their enemies, but He removed defeat and granted victory. I pleaded that my Ummah should not be afflicted by stoning from the sky and sinking of the earth, and He removed both. But He refused to remove two, the killing and internal strife among themselves." He returned to the grave of his mother and stayed there much longer than before.

[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ named the two prostrations after making up for forgetfulness.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not pray towards a grave, nor pray upon a grave."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , dug the trench and his companions were pelted with stones due to hunger. When the Prophet, ﷺ , saw that, he said, "Have you found any food?" A man said, "Yes." The Prophet, ﷺ , said, "Then bring us some." They went to the man and found him treating his share of the food in the trench. His wife sent a message to him saying, "Come, the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , has come to us." The man hurried towards them and said, "By my father and mother, he is the most honorable to me and I value him highly. And with him is his grandmother." He then slaughtered his grandmother and his wife brought some grain, kneaded it, and baked it. She cooked a pot of soup and brought it to the Prophet, ﷺ , and his companions. The Prophet, ﷺ , put his finger in it and said, "In the name of Allah. O Allah, bless it and feed us." They ate from it until they were satisfied, but they only ate one third of it, and two thirds remained. The Prophet, ﷺ , then released the ten men who were with him, telling them to go and bring back more food. They left and the ten men who came in their place ate from it until they were full. Then they stood up, praised the hostess, and her family, and walked back to the trench. The Prophet, ﷺ , said, "Come with us to Salman." And there before them was a rock that had weakened. The Prophet, ﷺ , said to his companions, "Leave me to be the first to hit it." He said, "In the name of Allah" and struck it. It broke into two pieces. He said, "Allahu Akbar, the castles of Rome and the Lord of the Kaaba." He then struck it again and it broke into two pieces. He said, "Allahu Akbar, the castles of Persia and the Lord of the Kaaba." The hypocrites were with him and they said, "We are digging a trench against ourselves while he promises us the castles of Persia and Rome."

Jibril drew closer to the earth and staggered, and suddenly an angel appeared before the Prophet ﷺ. The angel said, "O Muhammad, Allah commands you to choose between being a prophet or a servant." Jibril then pointed at me with his hand, signaling for me to be humble. I understood that he was advising me, so I said, "I am a servant who is a prophet." The angel then ascended to the sky. I said to Jibril, "O Jibril, I wanted to ask you about this matter, but your condition distracted me. Who was that, O Jibril?" He said, "That was Israfil, whom Allah created on the day He created him, standing between His hands, pure with his feet never lifting from the ground. There are seventy lights between him and the Lord, and any light that approaches him is burned. When Allah gives an order in the heavens or on earth, that revelation rises. He then strikes his forehead and looks, and if the matter is from my actions, he informs me of it. If the matter is from the actions of Mikail, he informs him. If the matter is from the actions of the Angel of Death, he informs him." I said, "O Jibril, what are you responsible for?" He said, "I am responsible for the wind and the soldiers." I said, "And what is Mikail responsible for?" He said, "He is responsible for vegetation and rain." I said, "And what is the Angel of Death responsible for?" He said, "He is responsible for taking souls. I did not think he descended except for the establishment of the Hour. And what you have seen from me is only fear of the Day of Judgment."

when the Prophet conquered Khaibar, he stipulated that the land, and all the yellow and white, meaning gold and silver belonged to him. The people of Khaibar said to him: “We know the land better, so give it to us so that we may work the land, and you will have half of its produce and we will have half.” He maintained that, he gave it to them on that basis. When the time for the date harvest came, he sent Ibn Rawahah to them. He assesses the date palms, and he said: “For this tree, such and such (amount).” They said: “You are demanding too much of us, O Ibn Rawahah!” He said: “This is my assessment and I will give you half of what I say.” They said: “This is fair, and fairness is what haven and earth are based on.” They said: “We Agree to take (accept) what you say.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1820)

[Machine] Salih, the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , seized the property of the people of Khaybar, except for themselves and their children. The Prophet then asked for the whereabouts of their utensils that were used in their weddings, to which they replied that the Prophet had expelled them and they had spent it. The Prophet said, "See what you say, for if you hide it from me, I will consider it as your blood and that of your descendants." Then he called two men from the Ansar and said to them, "Go to such and such a place and look for a hut with a patch on its roof. Remove the patch and bring me the utensils." They went and returned with the utensils. The Messenger of Allah struck their necks and sent for their offspring. Safiyya, who was their bride, was brought to him. He ordered Bilal to take her to his house. Bilal went with her to the house of the Messenger of Allah. He passed by her husband and brother, who were killed. When he returned to the Messenger of Allah, he said, "Glory be to Allah! O Bilal, why did you bring a virgin girl and pass by two killed men while she saw them? Don't you have any mercy?" Bilal replied, "I intended to burn her chest." The Messenger of Allah then entered with her and spent the night with her. Abu Ayub brought his sword and sat next to the mattress. He said, "If I had heard a shepherd or a monk, I would have been close to the Messenger of Allah." The Prophet then went to Bilal's house and asked, "Who is this?" Abu Ayub said, "I am Abu Ayub." The Prophet asked, "Why are you here at this time?" Abu Ayub replied, "O Messenger of Allah, I brought a virgin girl and you had killed her husband and brother, so I was concerned for your safety. I thought I would be close to the Messenger of Allah." The Prophet said, "May Allah have mercy on you, Abu Ayub," three times. The people then discussed this matter, with some saying it was his secret and others saying she was his wife. When they were leaving, they said, "Look at the Messenger of Allah, if he covers her, then she is his wife, and if he doesn't cover her, then she is his secret." The Messenger of Allah covered her, put her on his knee, and said, "Mount." The Messenger of Allah honored her by putting her foot on his knee, and he put his knee on her thigh, and they rode off together. Before that, he had offered her the choice to either be set free or be married to him, and she chose to be set free and married. And so he did.
