ذِكْرُ الْخَبَرِ الْمُدْحِضِ قَوْلَ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ هَذَا الْخَبَرَ تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ ابْنُ مُحَيْرِيزٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "O people, I have already started the prayer, so do not rush ahead of me in bowing and prostration, but I will precede you in them as you will catch up with what you missed."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنِّي قَدْ بَدَّنْتُ أَوْ بَدَّنْتُ فَلَا تَسْبِقُونِي بِالرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ وَلَكِنِّي أَسْبِقُكُمْ إِنَّكُمْ تُدْرِكُونَ مَا فَاتَكُمْ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have already made the intention to sit, so do not rush me to stand during prayer, and during bowing and prostration."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنِّي قَدْ بَدَّنْتُ فَلَا تُبَادِرُونِي بِالْقِيَامِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَالرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "O people, I have surpassed you in hastening in the bowing and prostration, but you surpass me in what has passed you. It has not been confirmed from our scholars whether it is 'Bedontu' or 'Baddantu', and Abu 'Ubayd chose 'Baddantu' with an emphasis and placing the dal meaning I have increased in size. Whoever says 'Bedontu' with a raised dal, then he intended excessive flesh."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ يَأَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنِّي قَدْ بَدُنْتُ فَلَا تَسْبِقُونِي بِالرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ وَلَكِنْ أَسْبِقُكُمْ إِنَّكُمْ تُدْرِكُونَ مَا فَاتَكُمْ لَمْ يُضْبَطْ عَنْ شُيُوخِنَا بَدُنْتُ أَوْ بَدَّنْتُ وَاخْتَارَ أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ بَدَّنْتُ بِالتَّشْدِيدِ وَنَصْبِ الدَّالِ يَعْنِي كَبِرْتُ مَنْ قَالَ بَدُنْتُ بِرَفْعِ الدَّالِ فَإِنَّهُ أَرَادَ كَثْرَةَ اللَّحْمِ

"إِنِّى قدْ بَدَّنْتُ فَلا تَسْبِقُونِى بِالرُّكُوع والسِّجودِ".

"إِنِّى امْرُؤٌ قد بَدَّنْتُ، فَلا تُبَادِرُونى بالْقِيَامِ فِى الصَّلَاه والرُّكُوع والسُّجُود" .
