Whenever Messenger of Allah ﷺ paid a visit to a patient, or a patient was brought to him, he used to invoke Allah, saying, 

adhhibi al-baʾsa, rabb al-nās, ishfi wa-anta al-shāfī, lā shifāʾa illā shifāʾuka, shifāʾan lā yughādiru saqaman

"Take away the disease, O the Lord of the people! Cure him as You are the One Who cures. There is no cure but Yours, a cure that leaves no disease."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا أَتَى مَرِيضًا أَوْ أُتِيَ بِهِ قَالَ: 

«أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ، رَبَّ النَّاسِ، اشْفِ وَأَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا».

I and Thābit entered upon Anas b. Mālik, and Thābit said, “O Abū Ḥamzah, I have fallen ill.” Anas said, “Shall I not recite for you the ruqyah (healing dhikr) from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?” He said, “Yes.” He said, “O Allah, Lord of the people, remover of harm, heal, for You are the Healer; there is no healer but You, a healing that leaves no illness behind.”

دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَثَابِتٌ عَلَى أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ فَقَالَ ثَابِتٌ يَا أَبَا حَمْزَةَ اشْتَكَيْتُ فَقَالَ أَنَسٌ أَلاَ أَرْقِيكَ بِرُقْيَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ بَلَى قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ مُذْهِبَ الْبَاسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لاَ شَافِيَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

The Prophet ﷺ used to treat some of his wives by passing his right hand over the place of ailment and used to say, "O Lord of the people! Remove the difficulty and bring about healing as You are the Healer. There is no healing but Your Healing, a healing that will leave no ailment."

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُعَوِّذُ بَعْضَهُمْ يَمْسَحُهُ بِيَمِينِهِ أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لاَ شِفَاءَ إِلاَّ شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

When Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited the sick he would say: Lord of the people. remove the disease, cure him, for Thou art the great Curer, there is no cure but through Thine healing Power, which leaves nothing of the disease.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا عَادَ مَرِيضًا يَقُولُ أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ اشْفِهِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لاَ شِفَاءَ إِلاَّ شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

Lord of the people, remove the malady, cure him for Thou art a great Curer. There is no cure but through Thine healing Power which leaves no trouble, and in the narration transmitted on the authority of Abu Bakr there is a slight variation of wording.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَى الْمَرِيضَ يَدْعُو لَهُ قَالَ أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لاَ شِفَاءَ إِلاَّ شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا وَفِي رِوَايَةِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَدَعَا لَهُ وَقَالَ وَأَنْتَ الشَّافِي

Should I not use the spell of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for you ? He said : Yes. He then said : O Allah, Lord of men, Remover of the harm, heal, Thou art the healer. There is no healer but Thou; given him a remedy which leaves no disease behind.

أَنَسٌ يَعْنِي لِثَابِتٍ أَلاَ أَرْقِيكَ بِرُقْيَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ قَالَ بَلَى قَالَ فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ مُذْهِبَ الْبَاسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لاَ شَافِيَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ اشْفِهِ شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

"Thabit Al-Bunani and I entered upon Anas bin Malik, and Thabit said: 'O Abu Hamzah! I am suffering from an illness. So Anas said: 'Shall I not recite the Ruqyah of the Messenger of Allah over you?' He said: 'Why, yes.' He said: 'O Allah! Lord of mankind, removed the harm, and cure (him). Indeed You are the One Who cures, there is none who cures except you, a cure that leaves no disease.'"

ثَابِتٌ يَا أَبَا حَمْزَةَ اشْتَكَيْتُ فَقَالَ أَنَسٌ أَفَلاَ أَرْقِيكَ بِرُقْيَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ بَلَى قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ مُذْهِبَ الْبَاسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لاَ شَافِيَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَعَائِشَةَ

“Whenever the Prophet ﷺ would visit an ill person, he would said:‘[O Allah,] make the harm go away, Lord of mankind, and heal him, You are the Healer, there is no healing except your healing, a healing that does not leave any sickness ([Allāhumma] adh-hibil-ba’sa rabban-nās, washfi antash-shāfi, lā shifā’a illā shifā’uka shifā’an lā yughādiru saqama).’”

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا عَادَ مَرِيضًا قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ فَأَنْتَ الشَّافِي لاَ شِفَاءَ إِلاَّ شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ

“When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to a sick person, he would make supplication for him, and would say: Adhhibil-bas, Rabban-nas, washfi Antash-Shafi, la shifa’a illa shifa’uka shifa’an la yughadiru saqama (Take away the pain, O Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer, and there is no healing but Your healing that leaves no trace of sickness).’”

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَى الْمَرِيضَ فَدَعَا لَهُ قَالَ أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسْ رَبَّ النَّاسْ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لاَ شِفَاءَ إِلاَّ شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited ruqyah for a sick person, said: “Remove the hardship and suffering. Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer and there is no healing except Your healing; (grant) healing which does not leave any sickness behind.ʿ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا عَوَّذَ مَرِيضًا قَالَ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

أَلَا أَرْقِيكَ بِرُقْيَةِ أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ؟ قَالَ بَلَى قَالَ قُلِ اللهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ مُذْهِبَ الْبَأْسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شَافِيَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ اشْفِ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

[AI] "When the Prophet ﷺ used to visit a sick person, he would say, 'Remove the harm, O Lord of the people, and heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healer but You, grant a healing that leaves no illness behind.' Hamad also said, 'There is no cure except Your cure, a cure that does not leave any illness behind.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ عَلَى الْمَرِيضِ قَالَ أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شَافِيَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ اشْفِ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا وَقَدْ قَالَ حَمَّادٌ لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to seek refuge for some of his family members by wiping them with his right hand, saying, 'I seek refuge for you in the Lord of mankind, cure and heal, for indeed, you are the only Curator, there is no cure except for Your cure, which leaves no ailment behind.' Then I mentioned it to Mansur and he narrated it to me from Ibrahim, from Masruq, from Aisha, similar to it."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُعَوِّذُ بَعْضَ أَهْلِهِ يَمْسَحُهُ بِيَمِينِهِ فَيَقُولُ أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا قَالَ فَذَكَرْتُهُ لِمَنْصُورٍ فَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍعَنْ عَائِشَةَ نَحْوَهُ

When Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited the sick he would say: Lord of the people. remove the disease, cure him, for Thou art the great Curer, there is no cure but through Thine healing Power, which leaves nothing of the disease. (Using translation from Muslim 2191c)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا عَادَ مَرِيضًا قَالَ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأَسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي وَلَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited ruqyah for a sick person, said: “Remove the hardship and suffering. Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer and there is no healing except Your healing; (grant) healing which does not leave any sickness behind.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 565)

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِمَرِيضٍ قَالَ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأَسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّاشِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا۔»

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited ruqyah for a sick person, said: “Remove the hardship and suffering. Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer and there is no healing except Your healing; (grant) healing which does not leave any sickness behind.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 565)

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اشْتَكَى أَحَدٌ مَسَحَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ وَأَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited ruqyah for a sick person, said: “Remove the hardship and suffering. Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer and there is no healing except Your healing; (grant) healing which does not leave any sickness behind.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 565)

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِالْمَرِيضِ قَالَ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

“When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to a sick person, he would make supplication for him, and would say: Adhhibil-bas, Rabban-nas, washfi Antash-Shafi, la shifa’a illa shifa’uka shifa’an la yughadiru saqama (Take away the pain, O Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer, and there is no healing but Your healing that leaves no trace of sickness).’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3520)

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِالْمَرِيضِ قَالَ أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

[AI] He said, "O son of my brother, shall I not perform ruqyah (healing through incantation) for you with the ruqyah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" I said, "Yes." She said, "In the name of Allah, I perform ruqyah for you, and may Allah cure you from every ailment that is in you. Remove the harm, O Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for there is no healer except You."

لَهُ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي أَلَا أَرْقِيكَ بِرُقْيَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قُلْتُ بَلَى قَالَتْ بِسْمِ اللهِ أَرْقِيكَ وَاللهُ يَشْفِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ فِيكَ أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شَافِيَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

[AI] "When the Prophet ﷺ visited a sick person, he would wipe his hand over the person's body and say, 'Remove the harm, O Lord of mankind, and heal, for You are the Healer. Grant healing that leaves no ailment behind.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا عَادَ الْمَرِيضَ مَسَحَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ وَقَالَ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي اشْفِ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا»

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited ruqyah for a sick person, said: “Remove the hardship and suffering. Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer and there is no healing except Your healing; (grant) healing which does not leave any sickness behind.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 565)

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited ruqyah for a sick person, said: “Remove the hardship and suffering. Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer and there is no healing except Your healing; (grant) healing which does not leave any sickness behind.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 565)

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِالْمَرِيضِ يَدْعُو وَيَقُولُ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا»

[AI] "To me, my nephew, shall I not heal you with the healing of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" I said, "Yes." She said, "In the name of Allah, I heal you, and Allah cures you from every illness in you. Remove the harm, O Lord of mankind, and heal, for You are the Healer, and there is no healer except You."

لِي يَا ابْنَ أَخِي أَلَا أَرْقِيكَ بِرُقْيَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ؟ قُلْتُ بَلَى قَالَتْ «بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ وَاللَّهُ يَشْفِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ فِيكَ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شَافِيَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ»

[AI] She said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite: 'O Lord, remove the hardship by Your hand, cure the people with it. There is no reliever except You.'"

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَرْقِي «امْسَحِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ بِيَدِكَ الشِّفَاءُ لَا كَاشِفَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ»

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited ruqyah for a sick person, said: “Remove the hardship and suffering. Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer and there is no healing except Your healing; (grant) healing which does not leave any sickness behind.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 565)

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِالْمَرِيضِ يَدْعُو وَيَقُولُ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا»

قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا عَوَّذَ الْمَرِيضَ قَالَ أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءٌ لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ عَلِيٍّ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا وَلَا نَعْلَمُ لِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ طَرِيقًا غَيْرَ هَذَا الطَّرِيقِ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا عَوَّذَ مَرِيضًا قَالَ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا»

[AI] "Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, narrated that whenever someone among his family complained of any ailment, the Prophet ﷺ would wipe over the affected area with his right hand, and say, 'Remove the harm, O Lord of mankind, and heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no ailment behind.'"

عَائِشَةُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اشْتَكَى أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ مَسَحَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ وَقَالَ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءٌ لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to seek refuge and say, "Remove the harm, O Lord of the people, and cure it as You are the only cure. There is no healing except Your healing, which leaves no sickness behind."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِمَرِيضٍ أَوْ أَتَى مَرِيضًا قَالَ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا»

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited ruqyah for a sick person, said: “Remove the hardship and suffering. Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer and there is no healing except Your healing; (grant) healing which does not leave any sickness behind.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 565)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا عَادَ مَرِيضًا قَالَ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا»

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited ruqyah for a sick person, said: “Remove the hardship and suffering. كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا عَوَّذَ أَحَدًا وَقَالَ عَبْدَةُ مَرِيضًا قَالَ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا»

[AI] 'Aisha, the wife of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , used to wipe over anyone who complained from their family with his right hand, saying, "Take away the harm, O Lord of the people, and heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness behind."

عَائِشَةُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اشْتَكَى أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ مَسَحَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ used to seek refuge and say, "Remove the harm, O Lord of mankind, and heal, for You are the Healer. There is no cure except Your cure, grant a healing that leaves no sickness behind."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُعَوِّذُ فَيَقُولُ «امْسَحِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ اشْفِ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا»

[AI] Can I treat you with the healing of the Messenger of Allah? I said yes. She said, "In the name of Allah, I treat you, and Allah will heal you from every disease in you. Remove the illness, Lord of mankind, and heal, and you are the Healer, there is no healer but You."

لِي يَا ابْنَ أَخِي أَلَا أَرْقِيكَ بِرُقْيَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قُلْتُ بَلَى قَالَتْ «بِاسْمِ اللهِ أَرْقِيكَ وَاللهُ يَشْفِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ فِيكَ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ وَأَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شَافِيَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ»

Thabit and I went to Anas bin Malik. Thabit said, "O Abu Hamza! I am sick." On that Anas said, "Shall I treat you with the Ruqya of Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" Thabit said, "Yes," Anas recited, "O Allah! The Lord of the people, the Remover of trouble! (Please) cure (Heal) (this patient), for You are the Healer. None brings about healing but You; a healing that will leave behind no ailment." (Using translation from Bukhārī 5742)

أَلَا أَرْقِيكَ بِرُقْيَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قُلْتُ بَلَى قَالَ «اللهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ مُذْهِبَ الْبَأْسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شَافِيَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say when he visited a sick person, "Take away the suffering, O Lord of mankind, and heal, for You are the Healer, a healing that leaves no sickness behind." And Hammad said, "There is no healing except Your healing. Grant a healing that leaves no sickness behind."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ عَلَى الْمَرِيضِ قَالَ «اذْهَبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا» وَقَالَ حَمَّادٌ «لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ اشْفِ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرً سَقَمًا»

"أذْهِب الباس ربَّ النَّاسِ، واشفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِى لا شفاءَ إلا شفاؤُكَ، شفاءَ لا يغادرَ سقمًا".

"اللَّهُمَّ رَب الناسِ مُذْهبَ البَأسِ إِشْف أَنْتَ الشافى لَا شَافِى إِلا أَنْتَ: اشْفِ شِفَاءً لا يُغَادرُ سَقَمًا ".

"عَنْ عليٍّ قال: كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا دخل على مريض قال: أَذْهِبِ البأس ربَّ الناسِ، واشف أنت الشافى لا شافى إلا أنت".

"كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا عَادَ مَرِيضًا وَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى رَأسِهِ فَقَالَ: أَذْهِبِ البَأسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشافِى، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّى أَسْأَلُكَ لِفُلاَنِ بْنِ فُلاَن شفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا".

"عن عَلِىٍّ قالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ إِذَا عَادَ مَرِيضًا وَضَعَ يَدَهُ اليُمْنَى وَقَالَ: لَا بَأسَ، أَذْهِبِ البَأسَ، رَبَّ النَّاس، اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِى، لَا يَكشِفُ الضُرَّ إلَّا أَنْتَ".

" عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: دَخَلَ رسُولُ الله ﷺ عَلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ وَهُوَ مَرِيضٌ، فَقَالَ: أَذهِبْ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، وَاشْفِ وَأَنْتَ الشَّافِى، لاَ شَافِىَ إلَّا أَنْتَ، وَفِى لَفْظٍ: لاَ شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤكُ شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا".

"عَنْ شُرَيْح بْنِ عَبْيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِى مَالِك قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ إِذَا عَادَ

الْمَرِيضَ قَالَ: أَذْهِبِ الْبَأسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِى، لَا شَافِىَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ شِفَاءً لا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا".

"عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا عَادَ مَرِيضًا وَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى بَعْضِهِ وَقَالَ: أَذْهِبِ البَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، وَاشْفِ وَأَنْتَ الشَّافِي شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا".
