When Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited the sick he would say: Lord of the people. remove the disease, cure him, for Thou art the great Curer, there is no cure but through Thine healing Power, which leaves nothing of the disease.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا عَادَ مَرِيضًا يَقُولُ أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ اشْفِهِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لاَ شِفَاءَ إِلاَّ شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

Lord of the people, remove the malady, cure him for Thou art a great Curer. There is no cure but through Thine healing Power which leaves no trouble, and in the narration transmitted on the authority of Abu Bakr there is a slight variation of wording.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَى الْمَرِيضَ يَدْعُو لَهُ قَالَ أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لاَ شِفَاءَ إِلاَّ شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا وَفِي رِوَايَةِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَدَعَا لَهُ وَقَالَ وَأَنْتَ الشَّافِي

“When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to a sick person, he would make supplication for him, and would say: Adhhibil-bas, Rabban-nas, washfi Antash-Shafi, la shifa’a illa shifa’uka shifa’an la yughadiru saqama (Take away the pain, O Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer, and there is no healing but Your healing that leaves no trace of sickness).’”

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَى الْمَرِيضَ فَدَعَا لَهُ قَالَ أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسْ رَبَّ النَّاسْ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لاَ شِفَاءَ إِلاَّ شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited ruqyah for a sick person, said: “Remove the hardship and suffering. Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer and there is no healing except Your healing; (grant) healing which does not leave any sickness behind.ʿ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا عَوَّذَ مَرِيضًا قَالَ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

[Machine] "When the Prophet ﷺ used to visit a sick person, he would say, 'Remove the harm, O Lord of the people, and heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healer but You, grant a healing that leaves no illness behind.' Hamad also said, 'There is no cure except Your cure, a cure that does not leave any illness behind.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ عَلَى الْمَرِيضِ قَالَ أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شَافِيَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ اشْفِ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا وَقَدْ قَالَ حَمَّادٌ لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِمَرِيضٍ قَالَ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأَسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّاشِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا۔»

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited ruqyah for a sick person, said: “Remove the hardship and suffering. Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer and there is no healing except Your healing; (grant) healing which does not leave any sickness behind.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 565)

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِالْمَرِيضِ يَدْعُو وَيَقُولُ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا»

[Machine] "When the Prophet ﷺ visited a sick person, he would wipe his hand over the person's body and say, 'Remove the harm, O Lord of mankind, and heal, for You are the Healer. Grant healing that leaves no ailment behind.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا عَادَ الْمَرِيضَ مَسَحَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ وَقَالَ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي اشْفِ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا»

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited ruqyah for a sick person, said: “Remove the hardship and suffering. [Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say when he visited a sick person, "Take away the suffering, O Lord of mankind, and heal, for You are the Healer, a healing that leaves no sickness behind." And Hammad said, "There is no healing except Your healing. Grant a healing that leaves no sickness behind."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا عَوَّذَ أَحَدًا وَقَالَ عَبْدَةُ مَرِيضًا قَالَ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا»

[Machine] 'Aisha, the wife of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , used to wipe over anyone who complained from their family with his right hand, saying, "Take away the harm, O Lord of the people, and heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness behind."

عَائِشَةُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اشْتَكَى أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ مَسَحَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا»

[Machine] "Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, narrated that whenever someone among his family complained of any ailment, the Prophet ﷺ would wipe over the affected area with his right hand, and say, 'Remove the harm, O Lord of mankind, and heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no ailment behind.'"

اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا وَلَا نَعْلَمُ لِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ طَرِيقًا غَيْرَ هَذَا الطَّرِيقِ

صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا عَوَّذَ الْمَرِيضَ قَالَ أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءٌ لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ عَلِيٍّ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ

"اللَّهُمَّ رَب الناسِ مُذْهبَ البَأسِ إِشْف أَنْتَ الشافى لَا شَافِى إِلا أَنْتَ: اشْفِ شِفَاءً لا يُغَادرُ سَقَمًا ".

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited ruqyah for a sick person, said: “Remove the hardship and suffering. Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer and there is no healing except Your healing; (grant) healing which does not leave any sickness behind.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 565)

"أذْهِب الباس ربَّ النَّاسِ، واشفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِى لا شفاءَ إلا شفاؤُكَ، شفاءَ لا يغادرَ سقمًا".

"أنَّ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ : كانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ عَلَى مَرِيضٍ قَالَ: أَذهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، وَاشْفِ أنْتَ الشَّافِى لاَ شَافِىَ إِلَّا أنتَ شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا".

"كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا عَادَ مَرِيضًا وَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى رَأسِهِ فَقَالَ: أَذْهِبِ البَأسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشافِى، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّى أَسْأَلُكَ لِفُلاَنِ بْنِ فُلاَن شفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا".

"عَنْ شُرَيْح بْنِ عَبْيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِى مَالِك قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ إِذَا عَادَ

الْمَرِيضَ قَالَ: أَذْهِبِ الْبَأسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِى، لَا شَافِىَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ شِفَاءً لا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا".
