The parts of land dearest to Allah are its mosques, and the parts most hateful to Allah are markets. (Using translation from Muslim 671)   

السيوطي:٦٠٣a –

("أحبُّ البقاعِ إِلى اللهِ: مساجدها، وأبغض البقاعِ إِلى اللهِ: أسواقها".  

[م] مسلم عن أبى هريرة، [حم] أحمد [ك] الحاكم في المستدرك عن جبير بن مطعم، لكن في مختصر المقاصد عند مسلم بلفظ (البلاد) بدل (البقاع) اهـ، وهو الذى في الصغير)
