"إِذا ضَنَّ النّاسُ بالدِّينارِ والدِّرهَم وتَبايَعُوا بالعِينةِ واتَّبعُوا أذنابَ

البقرِ، وتركُوا الجهادَ في سَبيِلِ الله، أدْخَلَ الله عليهم ذُلًّا لا يرْفَعُه عَنْهُم حتَّى يُرَاجِعُوا دِينَهُمْ" .  

[حم] أحمد وابن جرير، [طب] الطبرانى في الكبير [حل] أبى نعيم في الحلية [هب] البيهقى في شعب الإيمان عن ابن عمر

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "When people only care about dinars and dirhams, they engage in transactions based on deceitful measures and follow the tails of cows, and they abandon striving in the cause of Allah. So Allah afflicts them with trials and will not lift it from them until they return to their religion."
