The Prophet ﷺ said: No man recites the Qur'an, then forgets it, but will meet Allah on the Day of Judgment in a maimed condition (or empty-handed, or with no excuse).  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا مِنِ امْرِئٍ يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ يَنْسَاهُ إِلاَّ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ ﷻ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَجْذَمَ  

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "No one learns the Quran and then forgets it except that he will meet with Allah as a wrathful person."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ ثُمَّ نَسِيَهُ إِلَّا لَقِيَ اللهَ ﷻ أَجْذَمَ»  

[Machine] About the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "No one reads the Quran and then forgets it except that they will meet Allah while being heedless."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ ثُمَّ يَنْسَاهُ إِلَّا لَقِيَ اللهَ ﷻ وَهُوَ أَجْذَمُ»  

"مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرآنَ ثُمَّ نَسِيَهُ لقِى اللهَ وَهوَ أَجْذَمُ".  

"مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ تَعَلَّمَ القرآنَ ثُمَّ نَسِيَهُ، إلا لقِي اللهَ يومَ القيامةِ وَهُوَ أَجْذَمُ".  

"مَا مِن امْرِئٍ يَقْرَأُ القُرآنَ ثُمَّ يَنساهُ، إلَّا لَقِى اللهَ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ أَجْذَمَ".
