The Prophet ﷺ said: Those who are nearest to Allah are they who are first to give a salutation.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِاللَّهِ مَنْ بَدَأَهُمْ بِالسَّلاَمِ

"They said: 'O Messenger of Allah! When two men meet, which of them initiates the Salam?' He said: 'The nearest of them to Allah.'"

قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ الرَّجُلاَنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ أَيُّهُمَا يَبْدَأُ بِالسَّلاَمِ فَقَالَ أَوْلاَهُمَا بِاللَّهِ

[AI] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever initiates with the greeting of peace, he is more entitled to Allah and His Messenger."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ بَدَأَ بِالسَّلَامِ فَهُوَ أَوْلَى بِاللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever initiates with greetings of peace, he is more deserving of Allah's favor and the favor of His Messenger."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ بَدَأَ بِالسَّلَامِ فَهُوَ أَوْلَى بِاللهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِ

[AI] "Whoever initiates with peace, he is more deserving of Allah and His Messenger"

مَنْ بَدَأَ بِالسَّلَامِ فَهُوَ أَوْلَى بِاللهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِ

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Whoever initiates the greeting of peace, he is closer to Allah and His Messenger."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ بَدَأَ بِالسَّلَامِ فَهُوَ أَوْلَى بِاللهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever initiates the greeting of peace, he is more entitled to the grace of Allah and His Messenger."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ بَدَأَ بِالسَّلَامِ فَهُوَ أَوْلَى بِاللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever initiates the greeting of peace, he is closer to Allah and His Messenger."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ بَدَأَ بِالسَّلَامِ فَهُوَ أَوْلَى بِاللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ»
