The Prophet ﷺ said: Were dogs not a species of creature I should command that they all be killed; but kill every pure black one.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَوْلاَ أَنَّ الْكِلاَبَ أُمَّةٌ مِنَ الأُمَمِ لأَمَرْتُ بِقَتْلِهَا فَاقْتُلُوا مِنْهَا الأَسْوَدَ الْبَهِيمَ
That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If it were not that dogs were part of a nation among the nations, then I would order to that all of them be killed. So kill every one of them that is all black."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَوْلاَ أَنَّ الْكِلاَبَ أُمَّةٌ مِنَ الأُمَمِ لأَمَرْتُ بِقَتْلِهَا كُلِّهَا فَاقْتُلُوا مِنْهَا كُلَّ أَسْوَدَ بَهِيمٍ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَجَابِرٍ وَأَبِي رَافِعٍ وَأَبِي أَيُّوبَ

[Machine] I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "If it were not that dogs are a community among the communities, I would have ordered their killing. But kill the jet black dog, as it is a devil."
سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَوْلَا أَنَّ الْكِلَابَ أُمَّةٌ مِنَ الْأُمَمِ لَأَمَرْتُ بِقَتْلِهَا وَلَكِنِ اقْتُلُوا الْكَلْبَ الْأَسْوَدَ الْبَهِيمَ فَإِنَّهُ شَيْطَانٌ»
[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ : "If it were not for the fact that dogs are a community among the communities, I would have ordered the killing of every black creature. So kill the jet-black ones among the dogs, for they are devils among the jinn."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَوْلَا أَنَّ الْكِلَابَ أُمَّةٌ مِنَ الْأُمَمِ لَأَمَرْتُ بِقَتْلِ كُلِّ أَسْوَدَ بَهِيمٍ فَاقْتُلُوا الْمعينةَ مِنَ الْكِلَابِ فَإِنَّهَا الْمَلْعُونَةُ مِنَ الْجِنِّ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered us to kill the dogs, so we killed them even if the Bedouin woman came with her dog, we would kill it. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If the dogs were not a nation from among the nations, I would have ordered their killing, but kill every black dog with two blue spots on its eyes."
أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِقَتْلِ الْكِلَابِ فَقَتَلْنَاهَا حَتَّى إنْ كَانَتِ الْأَعْرَابِيَّةُ تَجِيءُ مَعَهَا كَلْبُهَا فَنَقْتُلُهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَوْلَا أَنَّ الْكِلَابَ أُمَّةٌ مِنَ الْأُمَمِ أَكْرَهُ أَنْ أُفْنِيَهَا لَأَمَرْتُ بِقَتْلِهَا وَلَكِنِ اقْتُلُوا مِنْهَا كُلَّ أَسْوَدَ بَهِيمٍ ذِي عَيْنَيْنِ بَيْضَاوَيْنِ
"لَوْلَا أَنَّ الْكِلابَ أُمَّةٌ مِنَ الأُمَمِ لأَمَرْتُ بِقَتْلِهَا كُلِّهَا فَاقْتُلُوا مِنْهَا الأَسْوَدَ الْبَهِيمَ".
"لَوْلا أَنَّ الْكِلابَ أُمَّةٌ مِنَ الأُمَمِ لأمَرْتُ بِقَتْلِ كُلِّ أَسْوَدَ بَهِيمٍ فَاقْتُلُوا الْمَعِينَة (*) مِنَ الْكِلابِ، فَإِنَّهَا الْمَلْعُونَةُ مِنَ الْجِنِّ".
