The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah ﷻ than the weak believer, and there is good in everything. Be eager for what benefits you, seek help from Allah ﷻ, and do not be helpless. If something befalls you, do not say, ‘If only I had done such-and-such, it would have been such-and-such’; rather say, ‘It is the decree of Allah ﷻ, and whatever He willed, He did,’ for ‘if only’ opens the work of Satan."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «الْمُؤْمِنُ الْقَوِيُّ خَيْرٌ وَأَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِ الضَّعِيفِ، وَفِي كُلٍّ خَيْرٌ. احْرِصْ عَلَى مَا يَنْفَعُكَ، وَاسْتَعِنْ بِاللَّهِ، وَلاَ تَعْجِزْ. وَإِنْ أَصَابَكَ شَىْءٌ فَلاَ تَقُلْ: لَوْ أَنِّي فَعَلْتُ كَانَ كَذَا وَكَذَا، وَلَكِنْ قُلْ: قَدَرُ اللَّهِ وَمَا شَاءَ فَعَلَ؛ فَإِنَّ لَوْ تَفْتَحُ عَمَلَ الشَّيْطَانِ».

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, although both are good. Strive for that which will benefit you, seek the help of Allah, and do not feel helpless. If anything befalls you, do not say, "if only I had done such and such" rather say "Qaddara Allahu wa ma sha'a fa'ala (Allah has decreed and whatever he wills, He does)." For (saying) 'If' opens (the door) to the deeds of Satan.'"

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ المؤمن القوي أحب إلى الله من المؤمن الضعيف وكل في خير احرص على ما ينفعك واستعن بالله ولاَ تعجزن وَإن أصابك شيء فلا تقل لو كان كذا وكذا وقل قدر الله وما شاء صنع وهذا الكلام قد رواه ابن عَجْلان عن ربيعة ورواه ابن إدريس عن ربيعة ولاَ نعلمه يروى عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ بهذا الإسناد وربيعة مدني لا بأس به

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مُؤْمِنٌ قَوِيٌّ خَيْرٌ وَأَحَبُّ إِلَى اللهِ مِنْ مُؤْمِنٍ ضَعِيفٍ احْرِصْ عَلَى مَا يَنْفَعُكَ وَلَا تَضْجَرْ فَإِنْ غَلَبَكَ أَمْرٌ فَقُلْ قَدَّرَ اللهُ وَمَا شَاءَ صَنَعَ وَإِيَّاكَ وَاللَّوْ فَإِنَّ اللَّوْ تَفْتَحُ عَمَلَ الشَّيْطَانِ الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ لَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, but there is good in both. Be diligent in pursuing what benefits you and do not be helpless. If something overwhelms you, say: 'Allah has decreed it and what He wills, He does.' Beware of negativity, for negativity opens the door to the devil's actions." Muhammad ibn Hatim informed us, he said: Habban informed us, he said: Abdullah informed us, on the authority of Ibn Ajlan, on the authority of Rabi'ah, on the authority of Al-A'raj, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: [he mentioned the hadith similar to the above, and Abdullah said: I heard it from Rabi'ah and preserved it from Muhammad].

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْقَوِيُّ خَيْرٌ وَأَفْضَلُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِ الضَّعِيفِ وَفِي كُلٍّ خَيْرٌ احْرِصْ عَلَى مَا يَنْفَعُكَ وَلَا تَعْجَزْ فَإِنْ غَلَبَكَ أَمْرٌ فَقُلْ قَدَّرَ اللهُ وَمَا شَاءَ صَنَعَ وَإِيَّاكَ وَاللَّوْ فَإِنَّ اللَّوْ تَفْتَحُ عَمَلَ الشَّيْطَانِ 10385 أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَبَّانُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَبِيعَةَ وَحِفْظِي لَهُ مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ

"المؤْمِنُ الْقَويُّ خَيرٌ وَأَحَبُّ إِلَى اللهِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِ الضَّعِيفُ، وَفِي كُلٍّ خَيرٌ، احْرِصْ عَلَى ما يَنْفَعُكَ واسْتَعِنْ باللهِ ولا تَعْجِزْ، وإنْ أَصَابَكَ شَئُ فَلَا تَقُلْ: لَوْ أنّى فَعَلتُ كَانَ كَذَا وَكَذَا، قل قَدَّرَ اللهُ وَمَا شَاءَ فَعَلَ، فإِنَّ لَوْ تَفْتَحُ عَمَلَ الشَّيطَانِ" .
